LOOK: Newly Appointed Principal I takes charge at AMDRHS
Angel M. Del Rosario High School (AMDRHS) officially welcomed its new principal on January 9, with the installation of Principal I, Mark Lee C. Sarmiento.
Before his promotion as a Principal I, Sarmiento served as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of two high schools in Doรฑa Remedios Trinidad (DRT): Sapang Bulac High School and Talbak High School. Both schools expressed their gratitude and fond farewell through heartfelt messages delivered by their Faculty and Employees Association (FEA) presidents, Angielyn D. Baclay of Sapang Bulac High School and Lyn Delos Santos of Talbak High School. They praised his leadership and resiliency as a leader for handling two schools for several months.
Messages of support and encouragement were delivered by Renato San Pedro, Barangay Chairman; Manuel A. De Guzman, School Parents and Teachers Association (SPTA) President; Oliver V. De Leon, Faculty and Employees Association (FEA) President; and Aieyesza Ann T. Mariano, Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) President.
School Heads from DRT and Angat have also given him heartfelt messages and support. Among them are Timotheous Ceancano Espiritu, EDDIS III Chairperson and Francisca T. Salvador, EDDIS VI chairperson.
The installation ceremony was led by Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS) Guillermo V. Flores, EdD, and the turnover of duties and responsibilities was facilitated by outgoing OIC/Principal, Virginia S. San Gabriel, PhD.
In his acceptance speech, Sarmiento expressed his dedication to the school community. He drew inspiration from the schoolโs namesake, stating, "Just like the first name of the school, Angel, I will be your angelโyour guardian and guide."
With this, AMDRHS looks forward to offer various programs, projects, and activities under the guidance and leadership of Sarmiento.
