𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈:Northville 15 Integrated School Senior High School students dive into the world of radio and media at AUF!

Angeles University Foundation DWAU 104.1 FM commenced the second phase of its media production internship program for students of Northville -15 Integrated School.This dynamic immersion program started with the orientation on the various roles of students in broadcasting and media production.

The initial session was facilitated by the Radio Station's OIC Engr. Sherwin Bognot, SAMASKOM President Rafael Milano Ponce, and DWAU AB Communication student interns, Donna Cenzon and Natasha David.

The internship program covers training and hands-on experience on broadcasting, scriptwriting, video and audio editing, camera operations and simple to complex media productions.

Initiated by the Department of Communication and College of Arts and Sciences, the immersive two-week program is designed to give students an overall experience of media and production industries.

A series of fun-filled games, engaging prizes, and a whole new learning experience was brought to the Angeles University Foundation community with DWAU 104.1 FM orchestrating this year's Radio Station Recruitment and Awareness Campaign.

Opening its doors to new recruits and fresh partnerships, our September to November campaign set forth the AUF Emmanuel Y. Angeles (EYA), AUF Professional Schools (PS), and recently, the AUF Main Building.

We give the warmest thanks to the entire AUF community, for the love, good vibes, and newly discovered voices ready to join campus radio with more than just music!

Gathered in the St. John Paul Hall, at Angeles University Foundation, media partners and guests from Bright FM, CLTV 36, and DWAU 104.1 FM take part on an in-depth discussion on how broadcasters, journalists, and communication professionals can help the public navigate emergencies with clarity and accuracy.

𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐊𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞-𝟏𝟓 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥

SAMASKOM once again hosted a radio and media production workshop for incoming high school interns from Northville-15 Integrated School from November 12 to 13, 2025.

The program immersed students in the inner workings of radio production, scriptwriting, and radio station management, preparing them for real-world experience inside DWAU 104.1 FM. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Sherwin Bognot from the College of Engineering and Architecture and Matthew Wendel Neri, a student radio jock at DWAU with extensive knowledge of radio operations and station workflow.

Throughout the workshop, participants were given opportunities to practice actual radio operations such as crafting spiels, timing segments, conducting mock live announcements, and experiencing the microphone firsthand. This workshop is part of SAMASKOM’s continuing initiative to prepare Northville-15 interns for their upcoming roles at the university’s educational radio station.
