We are nearing the end of January, Christmas seems a distant memory, and we are now in Epiphany, followed Lent, an important time in our Christian year

This week we are looking at

Jermiah 30:17 NIV
But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord, ‘because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.

This verse speaks gently to the parts of me that feel overlooked or written off.
God doesn’t heal reluctantly, even though sometimes it feels so, He restores intentionally. Even when others wrongly label us as “forgotten” or “too damaged,”
God sees worth where the world sees loss. It reminds me that rejection is never the end of my story.
Healing may take time, but God names me as His...... That is amazing, and that changes everything about how I see myself.

The verse is part of a larger section (Jeremiah 30-31) often called the "Book of Consolation."

Prayer
Lord, thank You for being the God who heals what feels beyond repair.
You see every wound, every rejection, every quiet ache, but you always restore my heart where it has been hurt
and strengthen me where I feel weak.
Help me Lord to trust Your healing work, even when progress feels slow.
Your restoration that you give, and I receive, is always with gratitude and hope.
In your son's name
Amen.

Remember,
Life isn’t about waiting for the Storm to Pass,
It is about learning to Dance in the Wind”
