Let us be transformed by the Word of God.

The Bible says:
"Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech."
📖 Proverbs 4:24 (NLT)

Many think "perverse talk" only means malaswa (sexually obscene), but the Bible’s meaning is much deeper.
"Perverse" means anything twisted, deceitful, or against what is right and pure.

It includes:
🔸 Lying
🔸 Gossip
🔸 Sarcasm meant to hurt
🔸 Dirty jokes
🔸 Manipulative or two-faced words
🔸 Complaining, mocking, or cursing

💡 In Tagalog, we could say: “Iwasan ang lahat ng baluktot at masasamang pananalita.”

God wants us to speak with truth, kindness, and purity—because what we say reflects what’s in our heart.
Let’s guard our lips and let our words bring life, not damage. ❤️
