What’s Pop-In is Shang-High Syndicate’s newest show centered on the fresh trend and pop culture here together with the comic scion, Ian Velasquez, as the main host.

Ian Velasquez or Damy Velasquez III as his pen name is a comic writer known to his “The New DI-13” series, an educator for more than 20 years, and a pop culture enthusiast.

The artistry of comics is naturally in his blood. He is known as the grandson of Mr. Damy Velasquez— a well-known Filipino comic writer in the 40s, 50s, and 60s in his classic DI-13 series as well as the younger brother of the “Father of Philippine Komiks”, Mr. Tony Velasquez that popularized “Album ng Mga Kabalbalan ni Kengkoy”.

Today, Sir Ian continue to explore more about foreign and local comics, movies, music, video games, and fond of collecting toys and memorabilia.
