Thursday, September 17, 2026, marked the new era of leadership ready to step on their duties and obligation as the annual Oath Taking ceremony was held at the University of Rizal System โ Antipolo Campus with the theme "๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐: ๐๐ป ๐ข๐ฎ๐๐ต ๐ง๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ, ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐๐"
The ceremony was attended by both academic and non-academic organizations of URS along with their advisers.
Despite the inclement weather and a few difficulties, the dedication of different student leaders proved that no problem can waver this event.
The Oath Taking was formally opened by Dr. Wilfredo P. Marino, Camous Director, followed by a welcoming remark from Dr. Imee O. Flores, OSDS Coordinator and an Inspirational message given by Dr. Rex O. Gonzales, Adviser of the University Supreme Student Government. They gave an inspirational and encouraging messages to the student leaders who are ready to lead the organization they represent.
โAs part of the Oath Taking Ceremony and to formally appoint the new student leaders of the university, Vice Mayor of City of Antipolo, Randy Puno led the pledge of commitment to uphold leadership, integrity, and service in their role within a school.
The College of Education academic organizations: Kapulungang Filipino, BEED Society, Litera Organization, Radicals Organization, URSAC Social Studies Club for UNESCO, The College of Education Student Council and the newly accredited Student Teachers Organization stood with pride and joy as they proudly present themselves, their organization, and their major.
As each member took a solemn pledge, they carry the promise of truly serving the school and the students they represent as well as the responsibilities they swore to fulfill with honesty, respect and purpose.
The Oath Taking isnโt a simple celebration of their win or celebration of their titles as newly elected officers, but the beginning of their selfless duties under the guidance of their respected advisers. Let this oath-taking ceremony serve as a lasting testament to our shared duty and unwavering allegiance to the organizations and the schoolโs mission.
Like how the ceremony was held despite the inclement weather, to all the student leaders, may you continue to lead despite the numerous challenges that may come, with sincere commitment and integrity. Continu to burn the flames of leadership and light the pathway towards the success of not just the organizations but the students you represent.
