POV: You left your career as a teacher to be present for your kids 🤍

Some people only see the “career” I left behind…
but what they don’t see are these little arms constantly reaching for me, the random hugs during the day, the “Mama carry me” moments, and the comfort my babies feel just because I’m here.

Yes, I miss teaching sometimes.
I miss dressing up for work, having my own classroom, and doing what I loved for 12 years.

But deep inside, I knew I wanted to witness these moments more than anything else.

So now my days are filled with carrying clingy toddlers, cleaning messes, sleepless nights, and hearing “Mama” a hundred times a day. And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Because one day, these little babies won’t need to be carried anymore.
And I’ll always be thankful I chose to be present while they still do. 🥺🤍

To all moms silently sacrificing careers, sleep, time, and comfort for their children… I see you. 🤍

Ang swerte ng mga anak ng Millenials.
Sila yung may bonding time sa mga magulang dahil karamihan work from home na. Samantalang noon karamihan ng magulang kung hindi ofw, nagtatrabaho sa malayo para may pang tustos sa pang-araw araw.
Ayaw na natin yun, kaya kahit wfh, sinusubukan namin na bigyan sila ng best childhood experience sa simpleng mga bagay.

Lalo na si Dad, hindi ganun kaganda ang childhood nya growing up from a broken family pero kahit ganun he tries his best to be a present father. Thank you Daddy! CJ Coloyan
