The official page of The Dihon Publication β€” the departmental publication of the College of Teacher Education at the University of Antique. Thus, Dihon has been uniquely and locally conceived through the effort of its publication adviser, Elen Joy A. Valencia together with her Editor-in-chief, Charls Jun Bado and his editors during the first semester, academic year 2018-2019. The publication acqu

ired its name and was considered close to the heart of all Tibiaonons. Pottery is the heart of the natives, the soul of the forefathers, and the source of living of the present and future generation. Like pottery, Dihon is the heart and the soul of DIHON (Dedicated, Intelligent, Hardworking, Optimistic, Natty) student journalists in the College of Teacher Education.

𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐋 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 | CTE Falls Short Despite Fierce Sepak Sila in Sepak Takraw Match Against CCIS

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) fought hard on the court but fell short against the powerhouse team of the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS).

Despite CTE’s solid service and sharp spikes, CCIS maintained control with strong defense and precise placements, sealing the match in straight sets β€” 21-12, 25-21.

CTE showed grit till the final rally, but CCIS’ consistent attacks proved too tough to counter.

✍️ Soleil

The whispers of the wind echo,
Trees begin to swirl until they bow,
Animals wander, searching for homeβ€”
But who shall we blame for this sorrow?

Things fall apart,
Lives at stake,
Yet pockets swell on the other sideβ€”
Whose fault is this mistake?

Homes were lost,
Floods consume the land,
Control abandoned,
Protection slipped from our hands.

Peace, justice, and equality submerged,
Beneath the weight of deceitful words.
The truth concealed by silver tongues,
But the secret now unfolds.

The rivers rise with cries of the poor,
Children ask what the future is for.
If leaders steal, while the people drown,
Who will lift this nation from the ground?

Yet hope is stubborn, it dares to stay,
In every hand that wipes tears away.
Together we stand, our voices oneβ€”
For justice, for peace, for what must be done.

No longer silent, no longer blind,
Strong institutions we must find.
For only then can our nation see,
A future of truth and dignity.
