ARAL Program at Mag-aba NHS
Mag-aba National High School proudly implements the DepEd ARAL Program (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) to help learners strengthen their skills in English and Filipino. And later in Science, and Mathematics. Through guided tutorials, active participation of teachers and learners, and the support of parents, the program ensures that no student is left behind in mastering essential competencies. 💚📘✏️

𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 🗞
𝗠𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

MNHS outfit advisors Ms. Aileen Santillan and Mrs. Lunesyl Decinilla successfully completed the Basic Training Course for Scout Leaders at Salazar Elementary School last September 12-14, 2025.

The training immersed them in various exercises, practical tasks, and scouting activities. They underwent the same experiences undertaken by senior scouts. From camp management to team-building challenges, the MNHS advisors gained hands-on skills that will enable them to guide and mentor their senior scouts more effectively.

Their participation reflects MNHS’s strong commitment to nurturing the character, leadership, and service spirit of its scouts by ensuring that outfit advisors are well-trained and prepared to lead by example.

In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Mag-aba National High School (MNHS) faculty and staff, along with the YES-O officers, Senior Scouts, and SSLG, actively participated in a coastal clean-up drive at Brgy. Mag-aba, organized by the LGU Pandan, headed by Hon. Mayor Tomas U. Estoperez, Jr.

The activity highlighted the spirit of volunteerism and environmental stewardship, showing that public service extends beyond offices and classrooms into caring for the community and the environment.

𝗠𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

Six educators from Mag-aba National High School (MNHS) are currently taking part in the Khan Academy Training at the Antique Tourism Trade and Investment Promotion (ATTIP) Center, San Jose, Antique.

This activity is made possible through the partnership of the Department of Education (DepEd) and Khan Academy, with the strong support of Senator Loren Legarda and Congressman AA Legarda.

Mag-aba National High School is one of the schools in Pandan that successfully passed the requirements to offer this innovative program aimed at enhancing digital learning in the classroom. Representing the school are Science teachers Ms. Lucille Bolivar, Ms. Ellen Jane Salazar, and Mr. Kenneth Barrientos, together with Mathematics teachers Mr. Adrian Lloyd Liberato, Mr. John Paul Dagohoy, and Mr. Randy Bautista.

The training focuses on maximizing the features of Khan Academy to strengthen both teaching and learning in Science and Mathematics. By equipping teachers with modern tools and approaches, the program hopes to bring world-class learning resources closer to Filipino students.

With this initiative, MNHS takes another step forward in its commitment to provide quality education and open more opportunities for the youth of Pandan.
