Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus, through its Extension Services Office of Pampanga State University, has officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gawad Kalinga Consuelo Community to strengthen collaboration in community development, education and extensions initiatives in Macabebe, Pampanga. The partnership highlights the shared commitment of both institutions to support community development and empowerment through collaborative programs and initiatives. Through joint efforts, the collaboration will focus on training programs, community-based research, technical assistance, and extension and outreach activities that respond to the needs of the community.

This initiative further reinforces Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus' mission to extend its expertise, resources, and academic programs beyond the campus by working closely with partner communities in creating meaningful and lasting social impact.

Students of Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus participated in the culminating activity as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month, organized by the Gender and Development Focal Point System - Student Advocates (GFPS-SA). The event took place at the school’s gymnasium on March 06, 2026.

The activities featured GADFinity: Juana Sing, where participants performed their impressive and captivating voices to the audience. Thereafter, the Reyna de Juana representatives from BEEd, BSBA, and BSHM, gracefully walked the ramp with confidence, poise, and charisma.

Meanwhile, Princess Marinel V. Sunga, a first-year student of Hospitality Management (BSHM 1A), explained how we can help promote respect for women during the question-and-answer portion.

On the latter part, Yesha Pangilinan was declared champion in the song competition, while Princess Marinel Sunga was crowned Reyna de Juana 2026. Additionally, other participants received special awards.

Pampanga State University Apalit Campus kicked off its Women's Month celebration with a purple parade, emphasizing empowerment, confidence, and unity in promoting gender equality. The event began at 8:10 AM, followed by a program at the gymnasium featuring chant competitions and the introduction of Reyna de Juana candidates, held on March 5, 2026.

Furthermore, the event highlighted the importance of creating gender-responsive spaces, inspiring participants to actively contribute to fostering a safer and more inclusive community. The celebration will continue on March 6, 2026, with various activities promoting women's empowerment and gender equality.

Moreover, Ms. Erika Nucom, RN, a certified HIV counselor, hosted a seminar about HIV awareness in the afternoon. Key topics covered included the three types of HIV transmission, ABCDE prevention methods, and the importance of early testing and treatment. Notably, HIV testing will soon be available at the school clinic, conducted voluntarily and confidentially.

These activities and seminar aim to highlight the spirit of empowerment and unity within the university community, supporting gender equality and working to break the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.

Remembering EDSA is remembering the power of a united people and the responsibility that comes with freedom.

MAULI joins the nation in commemorating the anniversary of the People Power Revolution, a defining moment in Philippine history that unfolded along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in 1986. What began as a collective call for change became a powerful demonstration of peaceful action, as millions of Filipinos from different walks of life stood together to uphold democracy and demand accountability from leadership.

As we remember this historic event, we are reminded that the unity and civic courage shown during those days remain essential to the nation’s progress. That same spirit of collective action and shared responsibility continues to be necessary for our country’s betterment, calling each generation to remain informed, involved, and committed to strengthening the democratic foundations of the Philippines.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Dr. Gloria B. Gigante, Director of the Office of Student Affairs and Development, together with the University Student Council (USC), visited Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus on February 13, 2025, to conduct a “Kumustahan Session” for the students of the Apalit Campus, particularly the student leaders, at the campus' gymnasium.

During the session, student leaders had the opportunity to freely share their thoughts and concerns. Additionally, the activity strengthened interaction between the students and the university administration, fostering better understanding and collaboration.

On February 12, 2026, Pampanga State University – Apalit Campus received formal recognition from the Quality Management Office for its compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards following the ISO recertification conducted on November 26–28, 2025.

After comprehensive online external audits in 2022 and 2023 and a face-to-face external audit in 2024, the campus consistently met quality standards in governance, instruction, and service delivery.

This recognition reflects the strong leadership and collective commitment of administrators, faculty, and staff to uphold quality, accountability, and continuous improvement in delivering responsive and globally aligned education.

Love filled the air as students of Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus gathered for an early Valentine's celebration that kicked off at 1:00 PM. Students were encouraged to wear color-coded attire representing their relationship status, adding a vibrant touch to the afternoon. The campus covered court served as the venue for the activities, housing interactive booths, stalls and short afternoon program organized to promote student engagement and campus participation.

The event created a warm atmosphere that allowed students to pause their academic demands and celebrate love and companionship to share lighthearted moments as well as the joy of being part of the university community.

The day also served as the venue for the screening for Mr., Ms., and Mx. candidates, which took place alongside the festivities. Aspiring representatives confidently stepped forward, showcasing their poise, confidence, and individuality. The university extends its best wishes to all candidates and a meaningful Valentine's Day celebration to everyone.
