With the theme “Making Waves of Strength: Building Bravery and Readiness in Every Stroke,” the Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) second-year students of Cagayan State University – Aparri Campus participated in a Water Survival Activity held on October 24, 2025, at Hotel Dian, Macanaya, Aparri, Cagayan.

The event aimed to enhance the students’ physical readiness, courage, and survival skills in aquatic environments — essential competencies for future law enforcers and public safety officers.

The activity featured several key components such as discussion sessions, water entry and exit drills, rescue and survival techniques, swimming lessons, and knot-tying exercises. Each segment focused on developing confidence, coordination, and teamwork among the participants.

The event was facilitated by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Special Operations Group – North Eastern Luzon (SOG-NEL), ensuring that the students received expert guidance and real-life insights into maritime safety and rescue operations.

Supervised by Dr. Crisanto Sait, their Physical Education instructor, the activity successfully combined learning and practice, empowering students to be physically capable and mentally prepared for emergency situations.

Through this event, CSU-Aparri continues to promote excellence and readiness among its Criminology students — shaping them into strong, skilled, and brave future protectors of the community.

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of Cagayan State University – Aparri Campus celebrates World Teachers’ Day at the CSU Gymplex on October 15, 2025, as part of the college’s celebration honoring its teachers and staff. The event carries the theme “Molders of Discipline, Defenders of Justice: Honoring Our Teachers and Staff.”

The CCJE Student Council spearheads the program, recognizing the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the faculty and staff of the College of Criminal Justice Education through various activities and performances.

In his welcome remarks, John Dave Agoto, CCJE Governor, highlights the importance of showing appreciation to their mentors. He said, “Through this program, we acknowledge the sacrifices of our molders. One of our instructors once asked, ‘Kailan ka dapat maging mabait?’ It made us think, and he smiled and told us, ‘One is enough, two is too much, and three is dangerous,’ reminding us not to allow others to take advantage. But as I observed, all our instructors did not just give us three chances.”

Moreover, the faculty and staff of the college showcase their talents during the celebration.

The program concludes with the offering of tokens and heartfelt letters from the students to their respective advisers as an expression of gratitude and admiration. In response, Dr. Taguba addresses the students, expressing his sincere appreciation for the touching tribute prepared by the entire CCJE student body.
