The Guidance and Counselling Center (GCC), in collaboration with the Office of the Student Development and Welfare (OSDW) and the Aparri Campus Student Council (ACSC), conducted an intensive orientation program for first-year and transferee students with the theme, โFrom Newcomers to Trailblazers: Embracing the Journey Ahead.โ
Dr. Corazon T. Talamayan, Campus Director for Academic Affairs, discussed the University's Academic Policies and Procedures, providing students with clear guidelines and expectations.
Moreover, Campus Coordinators, faculty, staff, and advisers of student organizations introduced the various services available in the campus, including Registrar's Office Services, Gender and Development Office, Financial Services, Medical-Dental Services, Food Services, Library Services, Business Office, Socio-Cultural, Campus Student Publication, Sports, Campus Safety and Security, Housing and Dormitory, Client Satisfaction Management, Guidance and Counselling Center, and also, Student Development and Welfare.
On behalf of Dr. Remalyn A. Ocampo, OSDW Coordinator, Ms. Jay Ann Tabaniag, OSDW Staff delivered a message, reminding the students to uphold the values of responsibility and integrity as they begin their academic journey at the university.
โRemember that your success starts with the choices you make today. Be responsible, stay focused on your goals, and never hesitate to seek guidance whenever needed,โ she shared.
The whole day session aimed for the students to familiarize and learn about the University's policies and enlightened with different services offered on campus, marking the official start of the Academic Year 2026-2027.
