For some, it was simply a walk in heels. But for the young 𝘼𝙃𝘾𝙀𝙁𝙄𝙖𝙣𝙨 who stepped onto the stage today, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, it was a walk filled with courage, confidence, and aspirations.

With every graceful stride, students of 𝘼𝙃𝘾𝙀𝙁𝙄 showcased more than poise—they revealed their determination to represent the school for the upcoming 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙕𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝘼𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙘 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 (𝙀𝙕𝘼𝙈). Beyond smiles and polished walks were hearts beating with hope, ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities.

Each step taken was a testament to their dreams, and each moment on stage reflected their readiness to grow, lead, and inspire.

Science states that many of the atoms within our bodies were forged inside ancient stars, as stars undergo supernovae, trillions upon trillions of particles scatter throughout the cosmos. Happy 13.8 billion years old 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘀, today, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, we celebrate the ingenuity and brightness of our neuron receptor! The action to our reaction, and the proton to our electron.

Albert Einstein proved the Theory of Time Dilation that illustrates time as arbitrary, it flows differently based on the individual. Clearly, within the classes that he partakes in, time unfolds tremendously fast. Topics shift as the days unset, without many knowing that the moments that are left are a mere silhouette. A hydrogen bond can never prevail against him as the competitor.

We hope this day serves as a reminder of your importance, as the light that enables photosynthesis, and the stability of homeostasis. In a universe where everything changes, you are a constant in an equation. A resonance, notes that were meant to respond to the same frequency. Again, Happy Birthday, Sir Aaron!

𝗣𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗘 | Kho Brings Home 2 SIMSO Medals 🇵🇭

𝘼𝙃𝘾𝙀𝙁𝙄 Elementary student 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗼𝘂𝗲 𝗞𝗵𝗼! once again makes his home proud by representing the Philippines and winning Bronze and Silver medals at the Siam International Math and Science Olympiad 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟖

Kho competed in the SIMSO 2026 Final Round with other academically inclined students from 18 countries around the world.

He used the large number of competitors and his family as his inspiration and won a 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 and 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in the final round of the competition.

Kho's triumphant mother noted in a Facebook post that having the opportunity to experience and join the competition was already a victory.

Over the past few days, we experienced frequent rains that replaced the scorching heat with a piercing cold. Even though the deadly heat is finally over, the current rainfalls can still make it difficult for us to spend time outdoors. Traveling, working, and wandering around can be challenging, so we should exercise caution when we are outside.

We should never leave the house without an umbrella or a raincoat—better to carry one than to carry sickness, don't you think? It is also important to wear boots when going into the floodwaters to avoid diseases like leptospirosis! If there is no need to go out, it is better to stay indoors! Stay safe this rainy season, 𝘼𝙃𝘾𝙀𝙁𝙄𝙖𝙣𝙨! 🩷

𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 | Summative Exams Nanaman?

High School hell week season na nga, tapos sumasabay pa ang mga summative exams! AFAIK, kakasimula palang ng academic year, ah?! 😅

This week is full of chasing deadlines, facing academic challenges, and acing summative exams. But beneath every term that we memorize is a hidden struggle that no one sees. Behind every closed curtain lies a quiet “𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒌𝒐 𝒑𝒂 𝒃𝒂?” because — sometimes, the lessons we absorb tend to suck all our energy dry.

Some may feel motivated because their crush texted them a good luck message or their jowa said, “𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒌 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒚!” While others stare at their notebooks all night because no inspiration could spark anything in their mind. Remember, 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 on numbers that do not guarantee our future. But do not use that as a reason to give up your acads easily.

Everybody experiences pressure from time to time. But wounds tend to heal, and soon — that suffocating feeling will be a release once we survive this week. ❤️‍🩹

𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘 | Behind the Byline of National Campus Press Freedom Day

There is a particular kind of courage that lives in a newsroom no bigger than a supply closet, where every published word is a small act of defiance against silence. On the 𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐟𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲, the Philippines pauses to remember this law inked in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟗 that gave a name to something students had been practicing since 𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟏, when a scrappy guild of campus editors first decided that 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲.

Consider the student journalist bent over a keyboard at midnight, chasing a story that some administrator would prefer buried. She knows the risks, the byline that might follow her into trouble. Yet she publishes anyway, because somewhere in her is the same stubborn spark that lit the first campus press decades before her birth. It is the belief that a school newspaper is not a courtesy granted by the institution but 𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀.

So the day arrives each July not with fireworks but with something quieter — a reminder pinned to a bulletin board. It only asks that we remember the ink-stained hands that came before, and notice the ones still writing now. In that remembering, campus press freedom stops being an abstraction and becomes what it always was: 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲. 🖋️
