𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜: 𝘐𝘚 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘬 3.0 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺: 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘱 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘴

The auditorium of Exact Colleges of Asia became a space for learning and inspiration as students gathered for IS Talk 3.0: “Mind Your Money: Startup and Financial Talks” last May 15, 2026. Organized by the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) students, the event featured a podcast-style seminar that focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business management, and career growth.

Students from different departments attended the seminar to gain knowledge and practical insights from the invited guest speakers, Ms. Jeanne Fahrina M. Sumang, a business owner and consultant, and Mr. Gabriel N. Cayanan, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Through an interactive discussion, the speakers shared their personal experiences, professional advice, and real-life lessons about handling businesses and building successful careers.

One of the main topics discussed during the event was how aspiring entrepreneurs can start a business even without having everything figured out at the beginning. The speakers emphasized that starting small, taking risks, and learning from failures are all part of the journey toward success. They also highlighted the importance of proper planning, discipline, and financial management in running a business effectively.

Aside from discussing how to establish a business, the speakers also shared tips on organizing operations and handling challenges during difficult situations. Students learned that business owners must be prepared to face problems, adapt to changes, and stay calm under pressure in order to keep their businesses stable and growing.

The podcast-style setup made the seminar more engaging and relatable for the audience. Instead of a formal lecture, the conversation flowed naturally, making students feel more connected to the discussion and encouraged to participate.

Through the experiences and advice shared by the speakers, students gained a deeper understanding of the realities of business, finances, and career growth. With meaningful discussions and engaging conversations, IS Talk 3.0 left attendees with valuable insights they can carry into their future endeavors.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

April 28 marked the opening of Campus Synergy 2026, bringing together students from BSIS, EDUC, and CBA under the theme “Three Colleges, One Vision for a Resilient and Digital Future.”

The event began with registration and an opening program, followed by the Synergy Play Fest where students joined team-building games such as Shake the Ball, Pass the Flour, Caterpillar Balloon, and Catch the Egg highlighting teamwork and camaraderie.

Academic and skill-based competitions were also held, including the Quiz Bee, Mobile Legends Tournament, Essay Writing Contest, Slogan Making Contest, and Poster Making Contest, where participants showcased their creativity and critical thinking.

Day 1 concluded with high energy as students from BSIS, EDUC, and CBA showed their energy, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the event.

Ang mga manggagawang Pilipino ang haligi ng ating bansa, tahimik na humuhubog sa pag-unlad nito sa pamamagitan ng kanilang sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon. Mula madaling-araw hanggang gabi, milyon-milyong Pilipino sa iba’t ibang larangan ang patuloy na kumikilos upang mapanatiling maayos ang takbo ng lipunan.

Exact Colleges of Asia, Inc. recently held a Student Orientation for LandBank account opening in coordination with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP). The activity is part of the school’s effort to make the release of financial assistance faster and more organized, since bank accounts help ensure that funds are received securely and directly by students .

The orientation took place on April 17, 2026, at the ECA Front Quadrangle. It was attended by students who qualified under the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) and Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES). The main goal was to guide them through the process of opening their LandBank accounts, which will be used for receiving their financial support.

During the program, President Teresita Marcos shared a short message encouraging students to make good use of the assistance they are receiving and to stay focused on their studies.
Representatives from LandBank were also present to assist the students step by step, making sure the process was smooth and easy to follow. The activity was coordinated by Jayson Barrios, Municipal/LGU Scholarship Administrator, with the support of Elisor Aguilar, Executive Secretary of Mayor Jeff Luriz.

Among those who facilitated the orientation were Nenita C. Lopez, Assistant Vice President, along with Nathaniel G. Vinuya and Sherry A. Nicdao, both Senior Customer Associates. They helped address students’ questions and guided them through the requirements and procedures.
Faculty members were also on-site to assist and monitor the students throughout the activity, helping maintain order and provide guidance when needed.

The activity showed strong coordination between the school, government agencies, and the bank in making financial assistance more accessible and easier for students to receive.
