The Campus Journalism Training was held on St. Teresita's Academy for journalists last July 11. In collaboration with Immaculate Conception Academy of Bone South, Aritao Inc., both schools decided to combine forces in training. This event happened in the Senior High School Function Hall in STA. Two guest speakers were invited namely, Sir Francis Lacquias and Sir Jaylord Orden. "Be an agent of truth and change", Francis mentioned, former Editor in Chief of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Gazette. He taught the students all about News Writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing, Copyreading and Headline Writing. He discussed the key elements of each and their own pitfalls. In Jaylordโ€™s statement, "Journalism is telling stories to the public but it's not easily seen or heard", former Head Video and Multimedia Journalist of NVSU Gazette, focused on discussing Photojournalism. He demonstrated how to handle the camera on hand and the elements of Photojournalism.

On that same day, basketball and volleyball tryouts were started to scope out promising athletes. That ends the third week at STA. STAy Amazing Theresians.

ARITAO, NUEVA VIZCAYAโ€”Newly elected officers of St. Teresitaโ€™s Academy of Aritao, Inc. (STA) officially took an oath-taking ceremony on July 11, 2025, at the Saint Joseph, Husband of Mary Parish. The event started with a 7:30 AM Mass led by Rev. Fr. Crispin Costales, followed by the formal turnover of leadership. The ceremony began with a mass, after which the newly elected officers of the SSLG, SELG, homeroom, family council, classroom, and school clubs were introduced. Geraldine Paraiso Ligon, the outgoing SSLG president, shared an inspiring speech and handed over the symbolic โ€œkey of responsibilityโ€ to her successor, Maiah Louissey Miranda. In her speech, Miss Miranda thanked her predecessors and shared her hopes for the school year. After accepting the key, Rev. Fr. Costales blessed all the new leaders with holy water, asking for guidance as they serve the school community.

St. Teresitaโ€™s Academy of Aritao, Inc. (STA) proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone as it was named as one of the finalists in the Best Performing Private School both in Elementary and Secondary categories in the 2024 STARS Awards held on December 5, 2024 at the Maria Lourdes Mansion, Naganacan, Santa Maria, Isabela.

Rev. Fr. Restituto O. Valdez, School Director, Carolyn-Anne M. Bunagan, School Principal, Marites V. Aquino, SHS Coordinator, and Rosario R. Vaquilar, GS Coordinator received the prestigious recognition on behalf of the institution during a heartfelt ceremony that honored outstanding schools in the whole Region in their achievements in fostering quality education.

Fr. Resty also expressed his gratitude, stating, โ€œWe [Theresian family] are honored to become one of the finalists [of STARS Awards] for Best Performing Private School in both departments, Grade School and High School.โ€

STA is overwhelmed with gratitude to our ever supportive students, friends, parents, esteemed faculty and staff, and to our Schools Division Superintendent, Sir Orlando E. Manuel, PHD, CESO V for achieving this milestone. This honor reaffirms STA's dedication to cultivating well-rounded, value-driven academic excellence, fostering growth and opportunities to students, highlighting quality Catholic education that the institution continuously offers.

SPORTS | STA WINS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP OVER ANHS, 85-61

STA takes pride once again as the Theresian Knights Basketball Team secures FIVE PEAT - HALL OF FAME CHAMPIONS for 5v5 Basketball in the Municipal Meet Finals that was recently held at the Aritao Municipal Plaza, Poblacion, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.

11/29/24 - Aritaoeรฑos gathered big as they watch the thrilling basketball game championship between St. Teresitaโ€™s Academy of Aritao, Inc. (STA) and Aritao National High School (ANHS). Players of both teams showcased their different talents and skills as they ignite their passion in playing sports with utmost camaraderie and true sportsmanship.

The Theresian Knights bag the 5-peat Hall of Fame title with accumulated wins in the consecutive years; 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.

STA remains steadfast to its commitment in nurturing and developing the skills and talents of its students in different fields, especially through sports.

St. Teresitaโ€™s Academy of Aritao, Inc. gathered on the 30th of August for the annual oathtaking of officers and teachers, a symbolic passing of leadership, and school mass.
The event commenced with a school mass, where students, parents, teachers, and staff gathered. The homily, delivered by Bro. Von Ryan Martinez focused on one of Jesusโ€™s parables. Afterwards, the oathtaking ceremony was commenced, where newly elected officers and appointed teachers pledged their commitment to upholding the school's values and mission. Student and parent officers, dressed in their formal attire, raised their right hands and repeated their oaths and pledged commitment.
In a heartfelt speech, SSLG Outgoing President Marco Louise Miranda reflected on their term, expressing gratitude to the faculty, students, and staff for their unwavering support. After the speech, the Passing of the Key ceremony symbolized the transition of responsibility from the outgoing school president to the incoming president, Geraldine Ligon.
Geraldine Ligon then addressed the assembly with a vision for the future. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of collaboration, and promising to lead with commitment to the schoolโ€™s core values.
The event concluded with Rev. Fr. Restituto Valdezโ€™ gratitude to everyone that helped in making the event successful.
