Pursuant to ๐‘ด๐’†๐’Ž๐’๐’“๐’‚๐’๐’…๐’–๐’Ž ๐‘ช๐’Š๐’“๐’„๐’–๐’๐’‚๐’“ ๐‘ต๐’.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“-๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’ issued by the LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE, classes IN ALL levels in both public and private schools within the MUNICIPALITY OF ARITAO IS HEREBY SUSPENDED.

In accordance with DepEd Order 22, Series of 2024, Classes and work from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and ALS in public schools are hereby immediately suspended due to the Orange Heavy Rainfall Warning of PAGASA issued at 11 AM, October 2.

If class suspension is issued after classes have started, the school head must send students and personnel home, provided it is safe to do so.

Bone North Integrated School capped off the September celebration of Literacy Month by recognizing the efforts of teachers and sections who excelled in the school search for Best Reading Corner Implementer during the Flag Raising Ceremony on September 30, 2025.

The awarding highlighted the schoolโ€™s commitment to fostering a culture of reading and enhancing literacy skills among learners, aligned with SDO Nueva Vizcaya's LETS READ PM ( Let Every Teacher and Student Read, Enjoy, Appreciate and Discern Printed Materials) program.

In Lot A, the winners were:

Champion: Grade 8 Galileo, Adviser, Venus Mangangan
2nd Place: Grade 8 Newton, Adviser, Joan Quetives
3rd Place: Grade 10 Darwin, Adviser, Maricris Ocampo

Meanwhile, in Lot B, the following emerged as top performers:

Champion: Grade 7 Hawking, Adviser, Karole Joy Libadia
2nd Place:Grade 8 Archimedes, Adviser, Richelle Jane Reyes
3rd Place: Grade 7 Lippershey, Adviser, Glendora Llamas

The classroom reading corners were evaluated based on the following criteria: Physical Organization (15 points), Appropriateness of Texts to the Level of the Users (25 points), Quality and Depth of Materials (25 points), and Functionality (35 points), for a total of 100 points.

According to reading coordinator and master teacher Karole Joy S. Libadia, the activity served not only to promote healthy competition among sections but also to showcase the creativity and dedication of teachers in developing literacy-friendly environments for their students. #

Bone North Integrated School (BNIS) bagged the second place in the municipalityโ€™s Search for the Best Solid Waste Management Implementer 2025 during the awarding ceremony held at CENRO Darapidap on September 26.

The competition brought together schools across the municipality, participated by all elementary schools in Aritao 1 and 2 districts, and all secondary schools including Sta. Clara High School which emerged as the first place, Aritao National High School which was on third place, Saint Teresitaโ€™s Academy, Nueva Vizcaya Institute, and Immaculate Conception Academy, respectively.

The School SWM Coordinators, Merly M. Estonelo in the Elementary, and Rolly C. Quizon Jr. in the secondary, expressed their gratitude for the award.

โ€œThank you to the SWM officers, to our school head, maโ€™am Marissa M. Fragata, the community stakeholders of the school, and to the parents, who have shown their full support, this win is not possible without their help,โ€ said Quizon, inspiring the school community to aim higher for next year.

The coordinators stated that a follow-up project in the improvement of the Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is on the top of their list, aiming to bag the championship for the next school year. #

PUBLIC ADVISORY

Work in all government offices/agencies and classes in all levels, both public and private schools in the Province of Nueva Vizcaya are hereby suspended on September 23, 2025 (Tuesday) due to the effects of Super Typhoon NANDO and the Southwest Monsoon.

This suspension is in line with the directive issued by the Office of the Governor to ensure the safety and welfare of everyone. However Essential services, such as basic health care and disaster response, will remain operational to ensure public safety and welfare.

All are advised to remain vigilant, take precautionary measures, and stay updated through official announcements.
