Students of BNIS once again showcased their talent and creativity as they secured the 1st Runner-Up title in the Bayle sa Kalye competition for the second consecutive year during the 2026 Panagsisibuyas festival.

Demonstrating vibrant energy and cultural pride, the performers captivated both judges and spectators with their synchronized movements and colorful street dance performance.

Aside from their back-to-back runner-up finish, BNIS also received the Special Award for Best in Costume, recognizing the groupโ€™s striking and well-crafted outfits that reflected the spirit and tradition of the festival.

The costumes added visual impact to their performance and highlighted the creativity and dedication of the team.

Coached by Maricris A. Ocampo and Mary Grace V. Padilia, the achievement highlighted the studentsโ€™ hard work, discipline, and teamwork throughout months of preparation.

School officials and supporters expressed pride in the performers for bringing honor to BNIS and for continuing to represent the school with excellence in local cultural competitions.

The bench cheerers of Bone North Integrated School (BNIS) earned 3rd place during the Bench Cheering Competition held as part of the Aritao Patronal Fiesta on March 19, 2026, at the Aritao LGU Gymnasium.

Demonstrating energy, creativity, and teamwork, the BNIS Bench Cheerers impressed the audience and judges with their synchronized movements, spirited chants, and well-coordinated performance.

Their routine highlighted school pride and strong collaboration among the students, earning them a place among the top-performing teams in the competition.

The team was guided by their coaches, Mary Grace V. Padilia and Julius E. Bacarra, who worked closely with the students in preparing their routine for the festive event.

The Bench Cheering Competition was one of the highlights of the Aritao Patronal Fiesta celebration, bringing together various schools and participants to showcase their talents, creativity, and community spirit.

The BNIS Silent Drillers secured 1st Runner-Up in the Silent Drill Competition during the 2026 Panagsisibuyas Festival, showcasing discipline, precision, and teamwork in their performance.

The team, composed of Grade 7 to Grade 10 students, impressed both judges and spectators with their coordinated routine and strong stage presence.

In addition to their overall placement, the group also received the Best in Uniform Award, recognizing their neat and well-presented appearance during the competition.

According to school principal Marilyn A. Serapon, the achievement is especially meaningful since many members of the team are new to silent drilling.

โ€œI am proud of the silent drillersโ€™ performance. Considering that the majority of the participants are new, their feat has proven that consistency, practice, and teamwork lead to success,โ€ Serapon said.

The BNIS Silent Drillers were coached by Rolly C. Quizon Jr. and Jereme B. Peรฑaflor, who guided the students in preparing for the competition.

Project SAGIP 3.0, an initiative aimed at strengthening learner access and supporting the continuous growth of the Junior High School (JHS) department, was awarded 2nd Runner-Up during the NVCIA 6.0 held at Bagabag Teachersโ€™ Camp, Nueva Vizcaya.

The project was led by Program Leader Richelle Jane L. Reyes, who successfully defended the initiative together with Heidi B. Garcia during the competition.

Their presentation highlighted the projectโ€™s strategic interventions designed to promote the steady increase in learner access, particularly among Grade 7 students, ensuring that more learners are able to enter and remain in the Junior High School program.

Project SAGIP 3.0 focuses on strengthening enrollment initiatives, learner support mechanisms, and community engagement to address barriers that may prevent students from accessing secondary education.

Through its targeted strategies, the project seeks to sustain the growth of the JHS department while ensuring that incoming Grade 7 learners are properly supported as they transition into secondary education.

School Principal Marilyn A. Serapon congratulated the project proponents for their achievement and emphasized the importance of initiatives that focus on learner access and retention.

โ€œProject SAGIP 3.0 is a meaningful initiative that reflects our schoolโ€™s commitment to ensuring that every learner, especially our incoming Grade 7 students, has the opportunity to access quality education. This recognition affirms the dedication of our teachers in developing programs that truly respond to the needs of our learners and the community,โ€ Serapon stated.

BNIS Undergoes Regional Validation for Senior High School Program

Bone North, Nueva Vizcaya โ€” Bone North Integrated School (BNIS) underwent the Regional Validation of its Senior High School (SHS) Program last January 22, 2026, marking a significant step toward the expansion of its academic offerings.

The validation was led by Regional Validator Ronie Guiloy, accompanied by Division Officials, including SGOD Chief Romulo Ancheta and Program Specialist Nolimar Navarro. The team conducted an on-site assessment to evaluate the schoolโ€™s readiness to implement the SHS program in terms of facilities, instructional capacity, and compliance with DepEd standards.

During the validation process, the regional team provided observations and recommendations to further strengthen the schoolโ€™s preparation. Based on the assessment, the validators advised the school to await the final decision from the Regional Office regarding the approval of the Senior High School program.

While awaiting regional approval, Bone North Integrated School is preparing to open Grade 11 with an initial offering of the Academic strand for the next school year. This initiative aims to provide learners in the community with greater access to senior high school education and opportunities aligned with their interests and career aspirations.

The school administration, together with its stakeholders, remains optimistic and committed to meeting all requirements to ensure the successful implementation of the SHS program once approval is granted.

In celebration of sustainable school gardening and agricultural innovation, Bone North Integrated School, Junior High School Department, emerged as the Division Champion in the Small Secondary School Category of the Search for Best Gulayan sa Paaralan for the 2025โ€“2026 school year, as outlined in Division Memorandum No. 582, s. 2025 released by the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Nueva Vizcaya.

The recognition highlights the schoolโ€™s commitment to promoting ecological gardening, nutrition education, and community participation through its thriving school garden program.

The competition, a flagship initiative under the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program (GPP), encourages schools across the division to develop and maintain productive and sustainable vegetable gardens that contribute to learnersโ€™ nutritional needs while reinforcing environmental stewardship and practical agriculture skills.

Bone North Integrated Schoolโ€™s winning entry was led by a dedicated team educators including Arnel Cabanit, Fatima Bautista and Artaxerxes Estonelo, who demonstrated excellence in garden planning, maintenance, productivity, and documentation.

In a statement, Master Teacher Karole Joy S. Libadia extended her congratulations to the GPP Team, highlighting the vital role of parents and external stakeholders in achieving the schoolโ€™s recent achievement.

โ€œWe would like to acknowledge that behind this success are the hands and minds that worked together, with the parents having a significant role in realizing the plans that we had for the Gulayan,โ€ Libadia said.

Faculty, learners, and stakeholders of Bone North Integrated School celebrated the win as a testament to collaborative effort, resourcefulness, and resilience.

The Bone North Integrated School (BNIS) Secondary Department was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the Search for Best Secondary School Implementers of LETS READ PM (Let Every Teacher and Student Read, Enjoy, Appreciate, and Discern Printed Materials) Year 3 last November 28, 2025 at SDO Conference Hall, recognizing the schoolโ€™s strong implementation of literacy initiatives.

The announcement placed Sta. Cruz Pingkian High School in 1st Place, followed by Sta. Fe National High School in 3rd Place, Paima National High School and Solano High School tying for 4th Place, and Alfonso Castaรฑeda National High School in 5th Place.

BNISโ€™ performance was led by Focal Person Karole Joy S. Libadia, with team members Glendora Llamas, Normie Dapig, Heidi Banglag, Joan Quetives, Julius Bacarra, and Richelle Jane Reyes, contributing to the schoolโ€™s reading programs.

Libadia said the recognition reflects the strong cooperation within the school, and that the award shows the school is โ€œmoving in the right direction in supporting the reading interests of the learners.โ€

Phoebreign Derije, a Grade 9 student of Bone North Integrated School, secured the 6th place in Photojournalism at the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held from November 24โ€“26 at Villaverde Central School, Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya.

Out of 52 participants, Derije excelled in capturing meaningful images that demonstrated strong composition, creativity, and journalistic relevance.

The competition challenged the participants to produce high-quality photographs and write accurate captions under limited time.
