Psalm 33:12: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance."
Philippine Election 2025 is drawing near, and as God's people, whom He gave the free will to elect anyone in the position to govern this nation in a righteous and godly way, we must make a stand and do what is right in the eyes of God, according to His Word and His will.
Here are the Living Like Jesus Guidelines before voting on Election Day, May 12, 2025:
1. Pray and fast before voting.
Ask divine guidance from God when choosing candidates.
2. Choose candidates wisely. Know everything about each candidate.
Never vote based on popularity, but rather based on their lives, credentials, and performances. You must choose real God-fearing candidates. Analyze their political platforms and programs. They must be aligned with the Word of God and the will of God. Do not vote for candidates who stand with immoral bills. Rather, choose candidates who are NOT in favor of abortion, same-sex marriage, divorce, civil union, and other immoral bills, for these will invite God's wrath on our country.
3. Take responsibility as God's chosen people.
Do your part to make this election clean, honest, orderly, and peaceful through earnest prayer that God will destroy all forms of electoral fraud and violence in this country.
4. Expect greater things that God will do to this nation.
The victory and success of all the elected candidates are in His hands. We must not rely on the prosperity and success of our country through them, but on God alone. We must look to Jesus, for He is our Hope, Savior, Provider, Shield, Refuge, Defender, Protector, and Creator.
