Agosto 29 naman para sa masigabong kaganapan na itinaguyod ng mga masigasig na g**o at estudyante sa bawat grupo na pinangalan ng iba't ibang rehiyon at tribu sa Pilipinas. Isa pa sa inabangan ay ang mga napiling kalahok para sa Rampakultura kung saan inirirepresenta ang kultura ng mga naitalaga sa kanilang rehiyon sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuot ng katutubong kasuotan.

โ€ŽNang dumating na nga ang makabuluhang araw, ang ilang linggong paghahanda ay nabigyang halaga. As the pursuit and discovery of new voices in campus journalism continues, the SIMURAI publication extended its Journalist Screening for a second day, held at Room A6, Baao National High School (Annex Campus). Todayโ€™s session, dated August 5, 2025, welcomed another wave of determined and passionate students who's ready to showcase their skills, talents, and potential in the field of journalism.

With the help and guidance of the publication staff, the aspiring journalists were accomodated to successfully fill up all the needed documents and proceed to their assigned rooms, where they were assessed based on their chosen journalism category.

The publication shows their persistence with their goal to discover more talented students who has a passion for journalism. With the intent to expand and amplify the SIMURAI publication, they are enthusiastically accepting more memberships to strengthen their foundation and build a dedicated team of journalists.

Today, August 4, 2025 โ€” The SIMURAI sets the pace for the year with a Journalist Screening, held at Room A6, Baao National High School (Annex Campus), wherein the capabilities of our aspiring campus journos are showcased and challenged.

The day started off with the applicants filling up the required documents to formalize their intent to be a member of the publication. The preliminary actions and directions were led by Frank Justin Brabante, ๐ธ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ-๐‘–๐‘›-๐ถโ„Ž๐‘–๐‘’๐‘“, alongside Nerissa Fajardo, ๐ด๐‘ ๐‘ ๐‘œ๐‘๐‘–๐‘Ž๐‘ก๐‘’ ๐ธ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ, and Jessa Sales, ๐‘€๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘Ž๐‘”๐‘–๐‘›๐‘” ๐ธ๐‘‘๐‘–๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ.

Afterwards, the participants were challenged to demonstrate their talents in differerent areas of journalism, such as Cartooning, Writing and Radio Broadcasting, prooving their passion for the craft.

By the end of the day, the event not only tested the determination and skills of the applicants but also ignited the spark from these bright young journalists.

With that, Day 1 of the SIMURAI Journalist Screening concluded on a high noteโ€”leaving everyone excited for the next stages in their journey toward becoming official SIMURAI writers.

The Simurai Publication took part and received acclaim in the recently concluded 2025 Division Schoolโ€™s Press Conference for Elementary and Secondary. The DSPC took place at Pili National High School, Pili, on January 6-8. The campus journalists bagged places in the competition, making their way into progress. Congratulations to these CJs:

With the guidance of school paper advisers, Kriza Erin Oliveros, Danny Boy Nacario, and Kim Silerio, they successfully managed to start and finish the contest.

To all BNHSians, We are thrilled to announce that The SIMURAI Publication is now on look out to hire new members and be part of family!

Just submit an original literary works; Be it Poetry, Flash Fiction, Short Stories, Tigsik, and more written in Rinconada-Baao, Filipino, or English for a chance to be published in the literary folio of the publication. With the theme: "Pagsilang (Beginning), Kalayaan (Freedom), Paglisan (Ending)".

You may choose to use a pen name to conceal your identity. Additionally, we welcome submissions of illustrations, and photographs to accompany your written works.
