0️⃣Do not store in overhead bins or checked baggage, only on your person

2️⃣Use short circuit prevention methods

Starting today , travelers to South Korea will be required to complete an electronic arrival card (e-Arrival Card) prior to arrival. You don't need to submit a paper entry declaration form to the immigration officer (although the paper form will still be available until December 2025).⚠️You need to complete the online process up to 3 days prior to your arrival. ⚠️Registered residents of South Korea, valid K-ETA holders, and airline crew members are exempted.

✨ In addition to traditional Korean hanji lanterns, the festival now features diverse attractions like the projector-based "Mystical Waves" and large LED displays.
☝️ Making its debut this year, the "Mystical Waves" installation beneath Gwanggyo Bridge brings marine life to life through media art, becoming a trending topic on Instagram and beyond.
✨ To celebrate the New Year, new features like "Seoul Moon" will be added alongside the existing displays.

South Korea New Year's Eve event cancellations - it is currently the National Mourning Period in South Korea, in the wake of the tragic 7C2216 flight crash.

Many of South Korea's New Year's Eve events are now cancelled or postponed - the list so far includes:

- Lotte Adventure World Seoul - no parades or fireworks until 4 Jan 2025
- Lotte World Tower NYE fireworks
- Seoul Plaza NYE Countdown - many events moved to 4 Jan. A memorial has opened in front of City Hall.
- Seoul Light Gwanghwamun KR will be light only - no sound.
- Seoul Lantern Festival will operate in 'quiet mode' until 4 Jan
- 2025 Red Road Countdown Event
- 2025 Sky Park Sunrise Festival
- 2025 Sinchon Countdown Concert
- 2025 New Year's Wish Sunrise Event at Ansan Beacon Mound
- New Year's sunrise festival at Achasan
- 27th Homigot Korean People's Sunrise Festival at Homigot Sunrise Park
