Today's daily devotional: Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

CEO Feature Special. Ramel Uy was a young man when he made his way to Bacolod City after putting himself through college by working as a jeepney conductor in Cebu City. Before he decided to put up his own wellness company, Doc Ramel, a naturopathic doctor, wanted to become an anchorman and applied for the position at a local radio station. He was told someone would call him if he will be accepted. No call came. Now, Ramel Uy owns a radio network with more than 60 terrestrial stations and a thriving food supplement business. His first station in San Jose Buenavista town recently marked it's 10th year, signalling the birth of the news and talk pioneer on the FM band. | Interview by Julius D Mativeles, shot and postproduced by Banjo C Hinolan

Sometimes, every now and then, Ramel Uy cannot believe how his dreams turned out. Once, while he was a young teen walking the dusty road to school in a Mindanao town, he wished his father would give him a BMX bike. It never came. He never thought he would someday drive a BMW SUV and the same brand of big bike. When he was working as a jeepney conductor in Cebu, he only had one pair of running shoes, a pair he wore for years. "Sometimes it's easier to take a shower than to decide what to wear for the day," he said when asked how he chooses from the more the 100 pairs of shoes he now owns. Most of all,he only wanted to be an anchorman, a job he applied for but never got. Now, he owns the pioneer news and talk radio network on the FM band with more than 60 terrestrial stations nationwide. Know the story of a poor boy from Mindanao and the network he built. This weekend. In multimedia.

Who is DNX?

The Digital News Exchange is a fusion of old and new technology. This, too, is the reality behind the people who compose DNX.

DNX is a news team composed of both veterans and new blood. It is composed of professors in Communication, multimedia experts, graphic designers, investigative journalists. They are joined by a group of young bloods trained in new media, in multi-media storytelling, in film-making, all bred and schooled in a premier university based in Negros Occidental. These two groups of diverse individuals gathered with one aim: to fuse the discipline of paper-and-pen journalism with new media.

The DNX is primarily led by a former investigative journalist with more than two decades worth of experience in multimedia, and a professor in Journalism trained in academic research and advocacy. Together, they lead a young, dynamic team of budding lawyers, filmmakers, actors, and social media influencers who are all committed to bringing stories, informed opinions, and vital information about politics, culture, society, entertainment, and business.

And that is exactly what the DNX team will deliver to its audience.
