Lately I’ve been holding on tighter to these little moments with my kids… especially the ones they get to share with each other.
Childhood goes by so fast and I just want them to grow up with memories of laughter, of being together, of knowing they always have each other.
I know life will eventually pull them in different directions, work, relationships, everything in between. But my quiet prayer is that their bond stays stronger than anything that tries to break it because I’ve seen how easily families can fall apart over money and things that won’t matter in the end.
So I pray they choose each other. Every time.

I used to replay things over and over, trying to solve what I can’t even touch. But I’m learning… if it’s out of my hands, it belongs in God’s. So I release it. I rest. I trust that He’s already working behind the scenes. There's so much peace in finally admitting "Lord, this is yours"

Life is actually so fragile.
Sometimes we’re so focused on “figuring everything out” that we forget to just be here. To laugh with our kids. To sit a little longer at the table. To say yes to the trip. To try again. To rest without guilt. At the end of the day, it won’t be the stress we remember. It’ll be the moments. So if you’ve been waiting for a sign, this is it. Do the thing. Take the chance. Spend time with the people you love.We only get one life. Let’s not spend it worrying through it. 🤍

This is Tinagong Dagat. A bit of a trek to get here, but once you do, you’ll understand why people fall in love with it.

Kataw Falls: A Must-Stop When You’re in Bucari

If you’re already in Bucari, make sure you don’t skip Kataw Falls. It’s one of those places that’s easy to visit but still gives you that “wow, this was worth it” feeling.

The hike going to the falls is short, around 8 to 10 minutes and very manageable. From the jump-off point, you just show your Bucari ticket and pay an extra ₱30, then you’re good to go. The trail is beginner-friendly, and even kids can handle it. One of the nicest parts of the walk is crossing a bamboo bridge, which already feels like you’re stepping into a quieter, greener space.

Once you reach the area, you’ll notice picnic huts scattered around, making it a nice spot to rest or eat. There are two waterfalls here, plus rock formations that add to the scenery. The sound of the water and the cool Bucari weather make you want to stay longer than planned.

We really enjoyed our time here, but honestly, we wished we had more of it. Bucari also has Imoy Falls, which we were hoping to visit, but due to time constraints and the rain starting to pour, we had to skip it this time.

Still, Kataw Falls alone made the trip worth it. It’s simple, refreshing, and easy to appreciate. no long hike, no pressure, just nature doing its thing.

Next time, we’re definitely coming back with more time (and hopefully better weather).
