Aling Lucing – Honest Food Review

The sisig was super delicious and hindi nakakaumay—definitely the highlight. Madaming onion🤤

The sizzling pakbet was also good; you can really taste the bagoong, but some veggies were a bit hard to bite into.

Lechon kawali was great, especially with their sauce—parang Mang Tomas with garlic bits.

The crispy kare-kare was just okay. I loved the sauce, but there was no eggplant or pechay—only okra and string beans. The string beans tasted a bit off, parang nababad sa water na may sabon.

The place was kinda smoky and hot, especially since we ate there during lunchtime.

Overall: 8/10 — solid experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

📍Pala Pala sa Vito | A MUST VISIT RESTAURANT IN SAGAY! The ambience at Pala Pala sa Vito is very pleasant—relaxing and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or special gathering. The food is served fresh, straight from the sea, which you can really taste in every bite. What sets them apart is their commitment to serving dishes without MSG, letting the natural flavors of the seafood shine. Everything we tried was delicious and clearly made with care. Highly recommended for seafood lovers looking for a fresh and flavorful dining experience!

The pork was tender, the sinigang na lison had just the right level of sourness, the crab was perfectly cooked—the meat didn't stick to the shell—and the grilled butter scallops were absolutely delicious. I also loved the calamansi juice; it was incredibly refreshing and perfectly sweet.

The customer service was excellent—very welcoming and friendly. I really appreciated how attentive and helpful the staff were.

All in all, I rate this place a 10/10!
