With a theme โUnlocked: Creating a New Home, Welcoming a New Worldโ, Bacolod City College welcomed the freshmen students during the Housewarming Welcome and Club Fair on August 3.

โThe parade ran from the BSOA grounds to Activity Center. Present during the parade were the Central Student Government council alongside various clubs and organizations.

โThe Dance Enthusiasts opened the program with a dynamic and energetic performance.

โCollege Administrator, Dr. Ma. Johanna Ann R. Bayoneta, delivered her welcoming remarks. In her message, she said that being accepted to BCC was the first โmysteryโ that freshmen students had unlocked. โThe key to unlock your success is discipline and hardwork,โ she emphasized. She also encouraged the students to join clubs and organizations to become fully developed individuals inside the campus.

โAlpha Grace Samillano, CSG President, shared an inspirational message, recalling her journey from being a shy girl to becoming a student leader she is today.

โThe morning celebration concluded with a dance presentation prepared by the student leaders.

โVarious clubs and organizations held performances in the afternoon, with the program ending in a recruitment drive.
