Where is the compassion, Technopark Binan?

I know safety matters, but so does kindness.
Seeing a mother dog and her newborn puppies, still too young to even open their eyes, taken away and be sent to the pound is heartbreaking.

That mama dog was not asking for much, only a small space to keep her babies safe. Before choosing removal, could there have been a more humane and compassionate solution?
They did not choose to be homeless. They are simply surviving in a world shaped by human decisions.

As part of Ayala Land, a company often recognized for supporting animal welfare, many people hope to see solutions that balance safety with compassion. Surely there are ways to protect both the community and vulnerable animals without causing more suffering.

A little kindness can make all the difference, not just for these dogs, but for the kind of community we choose to build.

After being taken to the pound in Technopark Biñan because strays are reportedly not allowed, this mama dog did something heartbreaking, she simply wrapped herself around her puppies.

These dogs did not choose to be homeless. Behind every stray is often a story of abandonment, neglect, or human irresponsibility. They have already endured so much. Must they suffer even more because of circumstances they never chose?

Look at this mama dog. She looks exhausted, frightened, and uncertain of what comes next. Yet even in that moment, her only concern was making her puppies feel safe in her embrace.

We can do better. Compassionate and humane solutions are possible, and every animal deserves a chance at a better life.

As the rain and strong winds continue, please don’t forget about your pets. Keep them indoors or in a safe, dry place where they can stay warm and protected. Don’t leave them outside during this time of disasters. They feel cold, fear, and comfort just like we do.

And if you see stray animals searching for shelter during the storm, may we choose kindness. A small space to stay dry, a little food, or even a moment of care can mean everything to them.

Storms pass, but the kindness we show to those who cannot speak for themselves will always matter.
