FYI parents and learners of VAGRES... ‼️‼️

Face-to-face classes in PRIMARY and SECONDARY levels in all PUBLIC SCHOOLS in the City of Bacolod are SUSPENDED on October 14, 2025 in view of the ongoing Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA) being jointly conducted by the City Engineer’s Office (CEO) and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and upon the recommendation of the Department of Education- Division of Bacolod City brought about by the recent earthquake experienced in the City of Bacolod.

The public schools concerned are encouraged to shift to modular distance learning, performance tasks and projects to ensure that learning competencies are met.

Classes in the PUBLIC TERTIARY LEVEL and PRIVATE SCHOOLS are left to the discretion of their respective school heads and safety officers.

Last 📅 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, our teachers took part in a meaningful activity on 🧠 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 facilitated by ✅ 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱-𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀, Sir Patrick C. Calamba and Sir Mark Jasson F. Garcelan.

This activity reminded our teachers about the importance of caring not only for their students’ well-being, but also for their 💚 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵. Through interactive discussions and practical strategies, our teachers learned valuable ways to 🌱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

✨THANK YOU BACOLOD CITY LGU ✨

Last September 23, 2025, our school was blessed to receive school supplies from our Bacolod City LGU especially to our Honorable City Mayor, Greg Gasataya! 🎉

This generous support from the local government will go a long way in helping our learners with their studies and daily school needs. ❤️

🙏 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our City Mayor and the local government for their continuous efforts in supporting the education of our children. Truly, when the government and schools work hand in hand, the future of our students shines brighter! 🌟

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 55, Series of 2025, Mayor Greg Gasataya declares the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools in Bacolod City on September 26, 2025 due to PAGASA's Heavy Rainfall Warning brought about by Tropical Cyclone Opong and the Southwest Monsoon.

Private schools with asynchronous and online classes may continue at the discretion of their school administration.

✨ ARAL Reading Program Orientation - VAGRES ✨

Last September 12, 2025, our school successfully conducted the School-Based Orientation for ARAL Reading Tutors led by our dedicated ARAL Coordinator, Ma’am Kristine S. Galor, with an insightful demonstration facilitated by Ma’am Jomeliflor R. Fuentes. 📚👩‍🏫

This activity aims to equip our ARAL tutors with strategies and best practices to strengthen the reading skills of our learners.

Together, we build a community that nurtures a culture of reading and learning! 💡❤️

Not all heroes wear capes, some wear uniforms, eyeglasses at hawak lang chalk o marker. 🫶🏻👩🏻‍🏫

Pero sa bawat araw, sila yung nagbibigay ng lakas ng loob sa mga estudyante na kaya pala nilang mangarap. Hindi lang sila nagtuturo ng lessons, sila rin ang nagtuturo kung paano harapin ang totoong buhay.

Kaya ngayong World Teacher’s Month, saludo sa lahat ng g**o—ang mga tunay na bayani ng lipunan! 🙌

Minsan sinasali natin ang kids sa contest, not just to win,
but to learn.
To practice.

Kasi in real life, hindi lagi panalo ang story natin.
Sometimes you need to lose first,
para matutong bumangon at try again.

And when kids learn that habang bata pa sila,
they’ll grow up knowing na losing isn’t the end,
