KANLAON VOLCANO SIMULATION EXERCISE
🗓 Date: July 5, 2025
📍 Location: Municipality of La Castellana

Please be informed that a Simulation Exercise will be conducted in La Castellana on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in preparation for possible scenarios related to Kanlaon Volcano’s activity.

As part of the exercise, emergency vehicles and response teams will be mobilized across several areas. These may include the following local government units (LGUs): Bacolod City, Murcia, Bago City, La Carlota City, La Castellana, and Moises Padilla. Traffic rerouting and temporary delays may be experienced along major roads connecting these LGUs.

This exercise is part of our continued efforts to enhance disaster preparedness and response capabilities of our local government units, emergency responders, and the community.

‼️ Important Reminders for the Public:
✅ Do not panic - this is only a drill.
✅ Expect movement of emergency vehicles, responders in uniform, and possible traffic rerouting in some areas.
✅ Kindly cooperate with authorities and follow instructions if your area is included in the simulation.
