Negrense stories take flight, now reaching international audiences.

Puregold CinePanalo 2024 Best Picture "Under a Piaya Moon" has officially expanded its reach to international audiences via in-flight entertainment. Directed by Kurt Soberano, the film is now available for screening on Etihad Airways, Gulf Air, and Saudia Airlines starting this January 2026.

This milestone marks a significant development for the Puregold CinePanalo festival, as it successfully places Filipino independent cinema on global aviation routes. The inclusion of the film in these major carriers' entertainment lineups demonstrates the growing accessibility and international demand for local narratives.

The move serves to showcase Filipino talent and storytelling to a diverse, global demographic of travelers. By securing these international distribution channels, the film extends the "panalo sa husay" mission beyond domestic theaters and into the global market.
