This is a road trip along the Bacolod-Negros Economic Highway. It was my first time driving from Barangay Sum-ag to Bacolod-Murcia Road. We continued all the way to Talisay City, following the circumferential road, but this video only covers the journey up to Bacolod-Murcia Road. Since I was new to this route, I decided to record only the latter part of the trip. The scenes along the way were truly amazing and enjoyable—I loved every moment of it.

The Bacolod-Negros Economic Highway is a significant development in the region, designed to enhance connectivity and spur economic growth. It was envisioned to facilitate trade and transportation across Negros Island, promoting easier access to various localities. The project gained traction through the collaborative efforts of local government units and representatives, including the support of Congressman Greg Gasataya, who advocated for infrastructure improvements that would benefit the community. The highway not only supports the movement of goods and services but also encourages tourism, showcasing the natural beauty and culture of the area.
