โ€ŽLuis Hervias National High School commenced its club registrations on Wednesday July 2, 2025 at the school's multipurpose gym.

โ€ŽThe event was organized to allow every student to join various organizations of their interest and showcase their talents.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe event began with the National Anthem, followed by a prayer led by Francis Adorio and opening remarks from the SSLG President, Joseph Caparon.
โ€Ž
โ€Ž A brief intermission followed before club presidents from all participating organizations addressed the attendees, sharing information about their respective clubs.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽFollowing the opening remarks, the club registration officially commenced in the gymnasium where the event was held with each student shuffling on to discover and join the clubs of their choosing.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽConsequently, thanks to SSLG officers and club leaders' cooperation, the event went smoothly.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽOverall, this club rush is really beneficial as besides showcasing talents, the event aimed to help students improve their skills and socialize with their peers sharing similar interests.

Luis Hervias National High School set a vibrant tone for the School Year 2025-2026 on June 16, 2025, at the school's multi-purpose gymnasium.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) led the flag ceremony and prepared an opening program that began with the presentation of uniforms for each grade level, showcased by the schoolโ€™s students.

The event featured captivating performances from the Arnis, Aerogymnastic, Hiliugyon Dance Company, and Glee Club, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

Principal III, Mr. Herbert D. Tecson, introduced the dedicated faculty of LHNHS, starting with the head teachers and master teachers of each department, followed by the grade level leaders and class advisors, and concluding with the non-advisory teachers.

As students embark on this new chapter at LHNHS, they embrace opportunities for growth and learning, with each experience shaping them as individuals and members of the community, preparing them to tackle new challenges ahead.

The Research and Innovation Committee of Luis Hervias National High School hosted its inaugural research colloquium for junior and senior high school students on March 25, 2025.

This event was organized to provide students with an avenue to showcase their innovative and impressive research projects, demonstrating their learnings from various subjects, including basic research, inquiries, investigations, immersion, practical research, and STEM capstone project.

Beyond showcasing research, the colloquium aimed to help students understand the real-life significance of conducting research for finding information and solving problems.

โ€œResearch colloquium is one way to combat fake news. As researchers, we are going to propagate the idea of data collection and references before jumping to conclusions,โ€ emphasized Mr. Herbert D. Tecson, Principal III.

During the colloquium, different panelists evaluated the research works and selected outstanding projects that were worthy of emulation.

Different schools composing District II in the Schools Division of Bacolod City competed in the much-awaited Unit Festival of Talents (UFOT) held on January 3, 2025, at the Luis Hervias National High School Gymnasium.

UFOT 2025 bannered the theme "Galing, Talino at Husay ng mga Batang Makabansa sa Diwa ng MATATAG na ADHIKA," as the eleven participating schools showcased their talents in various competitions, including Declamation in English and Filipino, Vocal SOLO in Pop and Kundiman, Likhawitan, Bayle sa KALYE, Pintahusay, Direk Mo, Ganap Ko, and Sineliksik.

Mr. Herbert D. Tecson, Principal III of LHNHS, emphasized that the UFOT was an extraordinary event to witness, showcasing the talents and skills of the students.

Correspondingly, Dr. Lani T. Boscas, Ph.D., shared an inspiring story to highlight the essential values that could motivate the participants as they competed on stage.

LHNHS Miss UNiverse pageant was held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the school gym. This yearโ€™s theme was dedicated to cultivating a culture of peace. Representatives from ten countries participated: Australia, Cambodia, Brazil, Somalia, India, South Africa, England, Colombia, Italy, and Mexico.

Ms. Colombia, Eliza Fariolen representing the house of Hufflepuff, won the crown, capturing the hearts of both judges and the audience.

Ms. Cambodiaโ€™s confidence walk was a highlight, and her answer on teenage pregnancy, advising, โ€œTo be patient and enjoy teenage life.โ€

Runners-Up:

2nd Runner-Up: Ms. India, Franshean Belleza, representing the house of Lannister.
3rd Runner-Up: Ms. England, Sheryn Jasmin Silvia, representing the house of Gryffindor.
