Luis Hervias National High School held its Mr. and Ms. Intramurals on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the school's multipurpose gym.

Aiming to promote school spirit, the event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents, adding a fun twist to the intramurals.

In the male category, Renz Dalusung excelled, winning Best in Production, Best in Sports Attire, and earning the title of Mr. Intramurals 2025.

Meanwhile, in the female category, Franshean A. Belleza earned Best in Sports Attire and was awarded the title of Ms. Intramurals 2025.

Other winners included Blue Phoenix (Best in Production Female, 1st Runner-up Female), Purple Griffins (1st Runner-up Male), Orange Hawks (2nd Runner-up Male), and Green Falcons (2nd Runner-up Female).

The newly awarded Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025, along with the runners-up, will serve as symbols of sportsmanship and school pride as Luis Hervias National High School continues its weeklong intramural activities.

Luis Hervias National High School officially began its Intramurals season on August 27, 2025, at the school's multi-purpose gym with the theme: "Rise and Shine, Herviasanons; Soar High, Hervias High."

The sports event was organized as a platform for students to showcase and develop their athletic talents and boost school spirit.

To enhance engagement, each grade level adopted a designated color and unique icons to show their support: Grade 7 (Green Falcons), Grade 8 (Yellow Hornets), Grade 9 (Red Ravens), Grade 10 (Blue Phoenixes), Grade 11 (Orange Hawks), and Grade 12 (Purple Griffins).

The event commenced with a vibrant parade featuring the schoolโ€™s drum and bugle corps, grade-level teachers, participants, and the varsity teams.

The opening ceremony featured the GLEE Club leading the national anthem and prayer, followed by the grade-level yells, Arnis presentations, banner drops, and the athletes' torch and pledge.

Mrs. Eleanor Dolloso, Head Teacher IV - MAPEH Department, officially opened the games, followed by the "Saludo" presentation by each grade level.

The Orange Hawks won "Best in Choreography" for their Saludo presentation, while the Purple Griffins were awarded "Best in Performance," and the Red Ravens were recognized as "Most Disciplined.

Upang ipagdiwang ang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino, pinangunahan ng Kagawaran ng Filipino ng Luis Hervias National High School ang pangwakas na aktibidad para sa Buwan ng Wika 2025 ngayong araw, Agosto 26, 2025, sa multi-purpose gym.

Ang mga estudyante at g**o ay nagbihis ng mga kasuotang Filipino at lumahok sa iba't ibang aktibidad upang ipakita ang kanilang pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino.

Luis Hervias National High School joined the Department of Education - Negros Island Region in launching the PEACE (Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Everyday) Anti-Bullying Initiative in Schools on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The initiative aimed to mitigate the impact of bullying by raising awareness and providing knowledge to students and teachers alike.

During the launch, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government, alongside the Guidance Officer, presented video clips related to bullying and shared pertinent information and measures to ensure a bullying-free environment at LHNHS.

Messages of support were delivered by SSLG President Joseph Caparon and Faculty and Employee Association (FEA) President Mr. Jose Gregorio Ramon Bas Pabalinas.

School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) President Arturo M. Soledad emphasized that LHNHS is one community and that bullying is unacceptable, stating that making fun of someone is wrong.

SSLG officers then led the bully-free pledge and the singing of the community song to mark the conclusion of the PEACE launch.

Luis Hervias National High School proudly showcased its talent during the Schools Division of Bacolod Victory Party held at the Bacolod City National High School Cultural Center on July 4, 2025.

The event kicked off with excitement as dancers from the Aerogymnastic Club and Hiliugyon Dance Company entertained the audience.

Following the performances, the athletes were introduced, and the program featured the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, a prayer, the Bacolodnon Hymn, and the SDO-Bacolod Song, all led by the Hervias Glee Club.

In recognition of their hard work and dedication, the athletes received incentives and tokens for representing the city.

Mayor Greg Gasataya delivered a congratulatory speech, commending the athletes for their remarkable achievements.

To conclude the program, athletes, coaches, and guests joyfully participated in the Unity Dance "Sayaw," led by the LHNHS dancers.

The celebration served not only as a recognition of success but also as a reminder of the unity and pride that sports bring to the city.
