Joint Statement of Congressman-Elect Albee Benitez, Mayor-Elect Greg Gasataya, VM-Elect Kalaw Puentevella, and the Team Asenso Councilors
To our beloved fellow Bacolodnons,
We are deeply honored and grateful for the trust you have once again given us. With your overwhelming support, we are ready to continue the work of building a better, more progressive Bacolod—one that is inclusive, compassionate, and a forward-looking Super City.
Now that the elections have concluded, we believe it is time to set aside political divisions and focus on the work that truly matters: serving the people. Our call today is clear—let us unite as one Bacolod.
We recognize and respect the service of Former Mayor Bing Leonardia, Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran & Coun. Renecito Novero, whose contributions have been part of Bacolod’s story. In democracy, leadership changes, but love for our city must always remain constant.
We, along with the entire Team Asenso Bacolod, call for reconciliation and cooperation. We invite every Bacolodnon—regardless of political affiliation—to join us in our shared mission to uplift our communities and bring lasting development to our city.
The challenges ahead are real, but with unity, respect, and collective effort, there is nothing we cannot overcome. Let us move forward with one purpose: to create a Bacolod that provides hope, opportunity, and a better life for all.
Padayon ang Pagbag-o kag Pag-Asenso, Bacolod.
