𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗨𝗦𝗟𝗦 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Organized by the University of St. La Salle - Commission on Elections (COMELEC), the "Special Elections: Harapan 2025" was held earlier today, at the Miguel Lobby—a platform allowing the student body to become better acquainted with the candidates for the upcoming elections.

Among the participants was Christan Tizon, the sole candidate for the College of Nursing's Level 1 Batch Representative, who shared his projects, views, and opinions on key topics and relevant issues.

The program featured segments such as Meet the Candidates, No Neutrals, State Your Statute, Behind the Budget, Face the Panel, and finally, an open forum.

With the conclusion of Harapan, students are now equipped with a clear understanding and proper knowledge about each candidate when casting their ballots.

In an effort to support learning and connection in the nursing community, the College of Nursing Council initiated a book donation drive, allowing students to share and donate pre-loved books and materials.

The movement launched, named, “The Book Nook” aims to express generosity amongst students, with its theme—“Fill a Nook, Fuel a Mind”.

Students may leave donated books at designated drop-off points until August 18, as it will be entrusted to SM Malls on August 22.

Following the Candidate’s Orientation and Oathtaking earlier, the University of St. La Salle - Commission on Elections (COMELEC) publicly introduces the official candidates running for the annual Special Elections.

Marking a strong start for student involvement, Christan Tizon from the College of Nursing officially declared his’ candidacy for the 1st Year Representative position.

With this initiative, the Special Elections aims to empower students with an opportunity to grow, lead, and serve.
