I have been on intermittent fasting and keto diet for a few months now and saw the awesome effects on my health and well-being. I trained myself to eat low-carb foods and my body responded and adjusted well. This morning, I tried an experiment to test my insulin resistance and ate a slice of cake. Suddenly, my body felt weird it was an unexplainable feeling of discomfort then I realized and compared it to our spiritual life and what 1 Timothy 4:7-8 says…
1 Timothy 4:7-8 (NLT)
7 Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly. 8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
It is a weird unexplainable feeling of discomfort if you do such acts of ungodliness if your body is trained in godliness and righteousness.
Stay healthy not only physically but most especially spiritually!
