One conversation completely changed my perspective.

God speaks to us in the most unexpected way, through a conversation with someone He places in our life at exactly the right time.

That conversation reminded me of something I needed to hear: my perspective is not always God’s perspective.

We focus too much on what we lack, what went wrong, or what’s taking too long. But God may be teaching us to look at the situation differently.

Like Mary and Martha. One was worried and distracted by many things, while the other chose to sit at the feet of Jesus. The same moment, two different perspectives.
Maybe you’re praying for God to change your situation, but first, He wants to change the way you see it.

What if the thing you’ve been complaining about is actually something you once prayed for? ✨💕

Can you relate? What is one thing God has changed your perspective about? Share it in the comments below.

+1 to me. 🤍

No extravagant birthday.
Just Jesus, my husband, and a grateful heart.
God gave us a beautiful gift.
In His perfect time. ✨

I thought I was shopping for clothes. Turns out, God was teaching me a lesson I'll never forget.

After our Sunday Service, dumaan ako sa isang shop sa mall para maghanap ng bagong damit for our fitness day. It's been years since the last time I bought clothes because of my body size.

For almost four months now, my husband Hercky Santos and I have been consistently working out and doing calorie deficit. So far, I've lost 3 kilos. Some people might think that's not a lot, but for me, every healthy step is worth celebrating.

And I realize...
It’s not about the green Pull over na sinukat ko.
Marami sa atin ang ganito parin in real life.

Lesson:

Your old mindset can keep you trapped in a life you've already outgrown.

If you keep making decisions based on who you used to be, you'll never fully become the person God is calling you to be.

Growth begins the moment you stop introducing yourself using your past.

God is always doing a new thing in our lives.
The question is...

Are we willing to embrace it?
At alam mo ba?

But because I want to embrace the change God is doing in my life.

I want to buy clothes for the person I'm becoming.

That moment reminded me that change isn't just about losing weight. It's about letting go of the old version of yourself and embracing the new one that God is creating.

God is already doing something new in your life.
The question is...

Will you have the courage to embrace it?

"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" - Isaiah 43:18–19

And while God is doing something new, He also reminds us to be courageous enough to step into it.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9

If you made it to the end of this post, maybe this isn't just my story. Maybe it's yours too.

Maybe God has been asking you to let go of an old mindset, an old habit, an old fear, or even an old version of yourself. It's time to embrace CHANGE.

Comment "CHANGE" if you're ready to leave your old mindset behind and courageously step into the new season God has prepared for you.
Because sometimes, the biggest transformation isn't what people see on the outside.

It's the mindset you choose to leave behind... and the new person you choose to become through Christ. Glory to God!

Protect What Matters Most đź’•

A wonderful reminder the Lord impressed on my heart before we attended our weekly worship service.

Ministry is a blessing. Work is a gift. But neither should become an excuse to neglect the first earthly relationship God has entrusted to us.
Years ago, my wife asked me a question that the Lord used to expose something in my heart:
"Bakit kapag small group o ministry activity, hindi basta-basta nare-reschedule. Pero kapag date natin, ang dali lang ma-bump?"

That question stayed with me.

By God's grace, it changed my perspective.
Since then, we've tried to make Thursdays our non-negotiable date day whenever possible. Not because we've mastered marriage, but because healthy marriages don't happen by accident. They grow when a husband and wife intentionally make time for one another while keeping Christ at the center of their relationship.

To every husband serving in ministry, leading a business, or carrying the weight of many responsibilities, this is my encouragement:

Don't let the urgency of many good things steal your commitment to the most important earthly relationship God has entrusted to you.
A date doesn't have to be expensive.
It can be coffee at the kitchen table.
A quiet walk together.
An uninterrupted conversation.
Praying hand in hand.
Listening without distractions.
Being fully present.

Many people may be blessed by our ministry, but according to God's design, our wives should never have to compete for our time, attention, or affection.
Leadership always begins at home before it is seen on a platform.

Jesus never led by demanding to be served. He led by serving, sacrificing, and laying down His life for others. The greatest Leader became the greatest Servant.

May we follow His example.
Lead your family before you lead the crowd.
Love your wife before you seek recognition.
Serve faithfully even when no one is watching.
Because the Kingdom of God turns the world's definition of leadership upside down.

The world says, "Lead first."
Jesus says, "Lead Last."

May we never become so busy building a ministry that we neglect the first ministry God has entrusted to us—our home.

May our wives never have to compete with our calling, because caring for them is part of our calling.
May we lead like Jesus.

Lead Last. Love First. Christ Always.
"Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." — Matthew 20:26

Helping others.

Learn to do good. Seek Justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rightd of widows. - Isaiah 1:17

I am with you and My Spirit resides in you. I have given you a voice to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves and to share My love with those who do not know about Me. Whatever you do to help another for My name’s sake will never be wasted. Even if no one thanks you for your work in their lives, you will be wonderfully celebrated in heaven. Don’t look for the praise of people; look for My power to work through you. I will give you all that you need to defend those who cannot defend themselves and speak for those who have no voice.

Reflection:
Our purpose on the earth is to glorify God by sharing the Good News. We can do this by showing love to others, putting others ahead of ourselves, and being kind to those who are in need.

Truth:
We will never regret living a life that helps those who cannot help themselves.
