We arrived early for Kaius’ much-awaited field trip — MindSpark Science Discovery! 💜✨

Kaius also got his very first school ID and it was sooo beautiful! 🥹 Even Dada couldn’t stop looking at it! 😁 Thank you so much, Journeys of Faith! 💙🤍🩵 And thank you for organizing this amazing tour! 🥳🎉

Before the fun began, we had an orientation. We watched a short video about what to expect, learned the house rules, and even met Albert Einstein (one of the staff dressed up as him for the kids)! Hihi! 🤭 The kids loved it! 🤩⁣⁣

They also had some fun trivia questions, at nakuuuu napakacute ng Kaius! 🥹 The first question was:

“What was Albert Einstein’s comfort food?”

No one was raising their hand but Kaius did! 🙋🏻⁣⁣ Even though he didn’t know the answer, he confidently said:

"Broccoli?” 🥦💚 ⁣⁣

Hahaha! That’s actually Kaius' favorite veggie, so I’m not surprised! Kakatuwa na okay lang sa kanya kahit wrong answer siya. 😁⁣⁣ Hihi! 😅

Then off we went exploring! 🌈💜✨

⚙️ 𝐏𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬 & 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧! 🧲 Our first stop! Full of machines, plates, magnets, and spinning gadgets! Kaius was so amazed watching how everything worked, pushing buttons and turning wheels like a pro! 😜⁣⁣

👁️ 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. So trippy and fun! We were both laughing trying to figure out what was real or just a trick of the eyes! 😂🌀⁣⁣

🐜 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚. 🦋 Kaius loved seeing all the insects up close. He was so curious and kept saying, “Mama look! Mama look!” 😂⁣⁣

🦴 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐲. 🐖🐕🐄 This one was so amazing! They got to see real dissection samples — an actual rabbit and pigeon! 😳🐇🐦 Kaius was super curious, asking questions and observing everything like a real scientist! 🤓⁣⁣

He even wore a laboratory gown so he could really feel like one! 🧑🏻‍🔬🩵✨ Hihi! The look on his face while exploring everything was priceless! 🤩⁣⁣

🌋 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬. 🪨 So fascinating! There were sparkly gems, colorful stones, and different kinds of rocks on display! They couldn’t be touched, but Kaius was especially drawn to the rainbow rock. 🌈 He kept pointing at it and saying, “It’s so colorful!” ☺️⁣⁣

🐠 𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 🌊 Soooo cool! Kaius couldn’t stop staring at the small octopus! Baby daw hihi! 🐙⁣⁣

🔬 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬! 🧬 Kaius' eyes lit up seeing tiny details magnified — like a real little scientist! 🤗 Tita BN taught him how to use it so he can see clearly through the scope! 🧫⁣⁣

🤖 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞. 🦾 Pati kami ni Dada nag-enjoy kaka-control! 😝 Kaius couldn’t stop pressing buttons, moving arms, and making the robots walk around hahaha! 😂🤖 His favorite one could even do push-ups and backflips! 🤸‍♂️🤖 He was soooo amazed and couldn’t stop giggling! 😆 Kaius + robots = pure joy! ⚙️🥳🎉⁣⁣

🧪 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚. 🫁 He looked so cute and serious with his lab gown on again, pretending to be a doctor-scientist! 😂🩺 Kaius even took a picture with the big human body mannequin with removable body parts! 🫀 He had so much fun doing little experiments too! The other kids already moved on to the next station, but he was still there using droppers, transferring liquids into cups, and just completely in his element hahaha! 🤣⁣⁣

𝐁𝐮𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞 & 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚! 🫧🪐🔭🛸🚀 The grand finale — Kaius’ ultimate favorite part! Nonstop laughter, bubbles everywhere, and running through the inflatable play zone! 🥳🎉⁣⁣

By the time we got out, we realized we’d been inside for almost 4 hours! Kaya pala gutom at hilo na kami! 😅 Hahaha! 😂⁣⁣

Such a loooong but super fun day filled with adventure, learning, laughter, and memories we’ll never forget. 💜✨

Lessons ready, snacks steady! 📚🎨🍪🧀🍇

Kaius knows how to plan his day! 🤪 May Lucky Me Beef Spicy Labuyo pa! Hahaha! 😅😂🤣

Starting this 2nd Quarter, we’ll be using The Good and the Beautiful for Math and Language Arts! 🤗 We’re loving it so far! 🩵✨ It’s such a blessing that the curriculum is FREE! Kaius also enjoys watching the lesson videos and playing the games in their homeschool app! 💻

One of the Language Arts activities was to make up stories from the pictures shown. Nakakatawa si Kaius and nakakaproud at the same time! 🤩 He came up with stories inspired by the Bible, like a castle in the woods turned into a story of a queen having a bad dream like King Nebuchadnezzar, and a lighthouse with waves turned into a Good Samaritan story where boats just passed by people asking for help. 😅

Haaay Kaius! 🥰 I love how you just go with it and let your imagination shine! 🌟 Keep it up, anak! 😘❤️

Quarter 1 Highlights 🦋📚🎨🏊🏻‍♂️🚒🎭✨

So happy and grateful we found Journeys of Faith at the perfect time! 🥹 I know that when we pray for guidance and wisdom, Heavenly Father leads us to what’s best for our family and for our children. 🙏🏼✨

JOF has been such a blessing to us — so warm, uplifting, and always there! 💙 The trainings, kamustahans, and parenting webinars 💻 always fill my heart and make me feel both empowered and humbled at the same time. 😌

Empowered realizing that we have the choice and the power to provide our little Kaius with what he needs, make sure he is happy while learning, and nurture his talents and strengths without needing a lot of money. Just love, time, and intention. ⏳❤️✨

And humbled because only Heavenly Father can truly help me, Dada, and Kaius succeed in this journey. 🙏🏼 With His help, all things are possible. He gives us peace, direction, and tiny miracles that keep us going. 🌈

This year of parenting-educating Kaius has taken me to another level! ✨ I had the chance to plan for the whole school year, slowly embracing the Charlotte Mason method. 🌸 Far from perfect — there’s still a lot to improve, but I’m so grateful that Kaius is progressing and flourishing! 🤩

There are days I feel not good enough or not smart enough, but we’re learning and growing together and finding joy in the simplest things. 🍽️🌞🍃🎨🎶

Recently, I explained to Kaius what homeschooling really means — that everything we do is part of it! 🤩 Not just the books or worksheets. 📖 That everything we do counts as homeschooling or life schooling, as others call it! 🥰

When we play 🏃‍♂️, paint 🎨, read 📚, clean up 🧹, cook 🍳, ride his scooter 🛴, or run and play with friends in the neighborhood 🏡 — it all counts! 🥳

Our field trips 🚌, family bonding days 💕, and road trips 🚗 — they count too!

Buying groceries 🛒, investigating ants 🐜, observing snails 🐌, and even digging in the dirt 🌱 — they’re all part of learning! 💡

Everything becomes an opportunity to learn and grow together. 🌿✨ Even the little chaos in between! 😵🤯😜

Grateful for this slow-paced life. 😌 The time I get to truly cherish with Dada and Kaius is the best blessing of all. 🏡👨‍👩‍👦

So grateful for this Quarter, for family who support us, for all the learnings and memories 📚🌴, and for the grace that keeps us going. 🙏🏼🩵✨
