“There’s a thin line between inspo and copying” ‼️

We had an experience like this after we released our Grow a Garden Trading Cards. Our real buyers knew, The colors, layouts, pati elements gayang gaya. Pero until now existing padin, binibenta padin. We appreciate our fellow digital template sellers na gumawa ng their own trading cards, inspired by us, for real (kahit no credits). Pero yung gayang gaya lahat ng design like ours? nah, big disrespect sa community 👎

Hi everyone!
I don’t usually post something like this. But I hope basahin nyo po. As much as possible I don’t want to rant at haluan ng negative vibes itong page. However, this is very alarming.

Para sa mga bago dito sa industry natin, mapa digital, printing or crafts man, sasabihin ko po ito ulit.
Anything na ipa free ko dito sa page or kahit anong free online, may terms of use. You can’t use it however you want just because it’s free.

Sadly, may nababasa ako na if ayaw kong gayahin ng iba or nak@win ng iba ang gawa ko then wag nalang magbenta online. Kesyo nabili naman daw kaya they own it and they can do whatever they want with it. Pero para sa kaalaman ng lahat, mali po yun! Sana alam po natin ang salitang respeto para hindi masira itong market natin.

Another issue, yung “inspo”. It’s okay to be inspired by something you saw online. Sometimes ganun din ako, tumitingin ako ng inspo online but I don’t straight out copy it. Kahit ibahin mo pa color or font and some shape, etc. As long as it is recognizable, it is still STEALING & COPYING. There’s a thin line between inspo & copying.

Im saying this kasi may “gumaya” ng mini fan holder template natin na supposed to be, free lang for my template buyers. I won’t name that person dahil nag apologize na and this is for awareness lang. (If this happens again, I won’t be as forgiving as now)

Tho, Im not sure kung talagang inspo kasi gayang gaya pati sukat. Dapat template buyers ko lang ang may access dun, but still gusto ko pa din magtiwala sa mga buyers ko.

Nakakalungkot lang, bumili pa ko mini fan at nagsayang ng materials para dun just to be copied at masaklap pinamigay din nya ng libre without my consent!

Sorry sobrang haba na, it’s frustrating lang kasi I’m planning to post free templates pa man din tapos may gantong issue.

Still, Sya na ang bahala sainyo. At kung nabasa mo hanggang dito sa pinaka dulo, kindly comment if interested ka sa free round fan template na nasa photo. (Di na talaga nadala 🥹)
