โOnce a teacher, always a studentโ, said Mr. Lumbao, quote that echoed through the hall during the pinning ceremony, which marks the future educatorsโ transition toward the virtuous profession of teaching. These words serve as a powerful reminder that even though they are at the beginning of their road to become teachersโlearning never ends. True educators are, in fact, lifelong learners, they never stop growing, learning, and improving.
On October 8, 2025, the Pinning Ceremony of the Pre-service teachers was held at the Cavite State University โ Bacoor City Campus Gymnasium. The event started at 4:00 p.m., hosted by Mr. Bobonao and Ms. Dumduman. The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the introduction of colors and the singing of the National Anthem.
The ceremony was formally opened with a message from Ms. Jolina Razell M. Mindoro, MAEd, LPT, setting a proud and inspiring tone for the event. This was followed by the introduction of the guest speakers: Mrs. Jay Anne F. Salles-Villareal, LPT, MAESL, Mr. Jeferson M. Lumbao, LPT, Ms. Bianca Bonifacio, LPT, Mr. John Aws Uy, LPT, Mr. Arnold A. Belarmino, MAT, LPT, and Mr. Karl Amon, LPT. They delivered their passionate and inspirational words by sharing their thoughts on the Pin of Calling, Book of Wisdom, Cross of Faith, Pencil of Brilliance and Sharpness, Fruit of Abundance, Light of Knowledge and Candle Lighting. The crowd was then captivated by a harmonious performance by Mr. Garcia and Ms. Alcoser.
The highlight of the event came when the proud loved ones pinned their future educators, officially marking their calling as pre-service teachers. This was followed by words of encouragement from, Mr. John Carlo T. Magdangcal, former TES President, and the Pledge of Commitment led by the current TES President, Mr. Darwin A. Gravador.The awarding of the guest speakers, collaborators, and organizers then took place as a token of gratitude and appreciation.
Finally, the event was formally closed by Ms. Nezil Obiado, LPT, followed by the singing of the CvSU Hymn, marking the end of the meaningful and memorable ceremony, and the beginning of the future educator.
