By becoming more intentional in daily behavior, individuals can design lives aligned with core values and goals, leading to greater clarity and well-being. Experts say intentional living can improve mindfulness and presence, increase feelings of control, support healthier habits, strengthen relationships, and improve decision-making.

To guide the general public, the experts from the Benilde Well-Being Center (BWC) of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) shared guidance based on recommendations from mental health journal "Vibe Check: Be Your Best You" author Margarita Tartakovsky, MS, along with insights from life coaches and therapists Shelley Meche’tte, Genevieve Piturro, Jackie Tassielo, and Lisa Olivera.

At Grammy-winning Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Laufey’s “A Matter of Time” concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last May 26, one look stood out among the crowd. Fashion designer and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) Fashion Design and Merchandising (FDM) graduate Odile Pauline Roxas was later named Best Dressed for Day 1 of the three-night Manila run.

In an interview with Manila Bulletin Lifestyle, the 24-year-old founder of Odile Atelier shared that she approached the outfit less like a competition piece and more like a tribute to an artist she admired. “I wasn't ‘in it to win it’ per se. I focused on creating a tribute to an artist I admired. To be noticed was a bonus.”

"Beyond the glamorous outfits and runway moments is a whole world of people working behind the scenes to bring fashion to life. At De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB), students can get a taste of that world through the Benilde Fashion Museum's (BFM) internship program, where fashion, history, and hands-on learning all come together.

Beyond building your resume, it's also a chance to gain a deeper appreciation for the stories behind the clothes we wear. After all, fashion isn't just about looking good. It's also about culture, craftsmanship, identity, and preserving the pieces that help tell our story."
