Princess and Rose were best friends who made a promise to each other: they would be best friends forever. But Princess had to go abroad for a vacation and for some family matters. Before leaving, she asked Rose to look after AJ, her fiancé.
Princess left without telling AJ the real reason why she had to go. She only asked Rose to stay by AJ’s side, take care of him, and tell her about everything AJ was doing.
AJ was left confused and hurt. Then Rose came into his life and started taking care of him. Eventually, AJ learned the truth about Princess.
AJ also revealed to Rose that he was sick, and he was afraid of losing Princess—not because he couldn't live without her, but because he knew how much it would hurt her if she found out that he was gone.
Years passed…
When Princess finally returned, she saw AJ and Rose together. She misinterpreted everything and thought that AJ and Rose had developed a relationship.
Instead of asking for the truth, Princess chose to hide her pain. She acted as if nothing happened, changed herself, and decided to move on.
Then came Kenshin—someone Princess met along the way. But the truth was, she never really had feelings for him. She was only trying to move forward while carrying the pain and misunderstanding she had kept inside.
