While the story was all over the place, what I loved about this series was it gave us a lot of lovable characters like Newt, Jacob, Tina, Lally and more.
It's confirmed 🚨 Goodbye 💔
The Fantastic Beasts star suggests we might have seen the last of Newt Scamander on the big screen. Eddie Redmayne confirms the saga will not continue.
In an interview with ComicBook about his new Peacock thriller series, Day of the Jackal, Redmayne said that we probably won't see Newt Scamander again in the cinema.
“I think you probably won't see Newt anymore,” Redmayne said. “That's a very honest answer. As far as I know, that's it. You'd have to ask the people at Warner Bros. and J.K. Rowling, but as far as I know, that's the situation. He might appear briefly at the new Universal park in Florida, where you can see some of what he did in Paris.”
For fans of the Harry Potter franchise, this news shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given the diminishing interest and declining box office results of the last two Fantastic Beasts films.
