But for many of us, it’s our little pocket of sunshine in Baguio.
It’s where we go when we need to breathe.
Where we can walk aimlessly and not feel out of place.
Where sitting in silence doesn’t feel lonely.
It’s not just Burnham Park. It’s a quiet kind of healing.

It’s the sound of bicycles on brick paths.
The scent of street food lingering in the air.
The sight of paddle boats gently gliding across the lake.
It’s where lovers stroll hand in hand,
Where friends walk and laugh over nothing,
Where kids run free chasing bubbles,
And where strangers become silent companions on park benches.

It’s where we go to slow down,
To listen to the rustle of trees,
To feel the sun on our faces—even just for a while.

It’s not just a park.
It’s a part of us.
It’s home in the middle of the city.
