We invite everyone—students, colleagues, and friends—to be part of this Memory Wall in tribute to an extraordinary architect and mentor.

Please share a photo, artwork, memory, or story in the comments below. Let this post become a living magazine of remembrance—filled with the moments, sketches, and stories that reflect the colorful spirit of Ar. Cristito Valdivia.

Known for his eccentric charm, timeless wisdom, iconic handwriting and witty banter, Sir Tito brought life into every room he entered. He was a one-of-a-kind soul who left a mark not only through design, but through the way he thought, taught, and lived.

You are deeply missed, Sir Tito. Your legacy lives on in every student you inspired and every life you touched.

Love,
The Architrave Family

Ar. Joan Colcol was among the first members of the Architrave when it was pioneered during her college years. As she later took on the role of being its adviser and leading a new breed of creatives, she strived for the publication to be recognized and for more cartoonists, journalists, and writers explore their creativity while navigating Architecture. She will be forever remembered and loved.

The Architrave is dedicating this 3-part tribute in memory of its adviser, Ar. Joan Colcol. We are greatly inspired by the shared stories and pictures on our wall of the life of Ar. Joan. The former staff and the department continue to extend our sympathies to the family.

The former editorial staff mourns the passing of the late Ar. Joan Tuazon Colcol who has spearheaded the revival of the Architecture folio, Architrave. In memory of our beloved instructor and adviser, we are dedicating a 3-part tribute to remember her by.

We encourage everyone to be part of this memory wall. You can comment a picture, art or story below in remembrance of Ma'am Joan, and be the content of this "magazine" as one final send-off to a fellow writer, caring instructor, friend, loving wife and mother to a beautiful family. You will be missed, Ma'am Joan.
