The Sids Parenting with Love, Raising with Faith ✝️💖

08/03/2026

Having a second baby means thinking about many things time, resources, energy, and the emotional readiness of parents. Sometimes, the best gift we can give our child is being happy, healthy, and present parents.

It’s not about being selfish or raising a spoiled child. It’s about understanding what we are truly able to give with love and responsibility. As the saying goes, you cannot give what you don’t have.

We’re not closing our doors to the possibility of a second child someday. But for now, we are happy and content with what God has blessed us with — our little ball of energy, our greatest blessing. 🤍✨

I cannot imagine my life working from home without God.

Have you ever imagined what it truly takes to handle the same clients for years?
To create your own schedule — and have the discipline to stick to it.
To answer every inquiry, meet every request, and still give your best each time.

It’s not just about improving our students.
It’s about constantly improving ourselves as teachers, too.

Managing renewals without ever knowing who will stay or who will leave.
Building genuine relationships, fully aware that one day they might say goodbye —
not because you failed, but because life moves forward and priorities change.

Accepting that at any moment, things can shift.
That stability is never guaranteed.

And in the middle of all that uncertainty, we hold on to God.
We lean on faith when bookings are slow.
We pray when decisions feel heavy.
We trust when the future looks unclear.

Because this journey isn’t sustained by discipline alone —
it’s sustained by grace.

We carry all of that quietly.
With faith in our hearts.
We adapt. We grow. We keep showing up — knowing God goes before us.

So yes — we make it look easy.
But it never was.
It was faith and God! 🙏🏻

Imaginative play isn’t “just playing” — it’s your toddler’s brain building creativity, problem-solving, and confidence all at once 🧠✨
Let them play, let them imagine, and most of all, enjoy these little moments together 🤍

May this memory verse remind us that Godly wisdom is more than just knowledge. It is a life shaped by His character, walking every step according to His will, and resting in His mercy and grace.

*Entering our “Whys” Era 🌌

Sherlock: “Mommy, there are four stars.”
Mommy: “Uhm… yes.”
Sherlock: “The other one is bigger?”
Mommy: “Yes, they’re different.”
Sherlock: “Why is it bigger?”
Mommy: “Because that star is closer to us.”
Sherlock: “Closer?? Why??”

Mommy: sgently changes the topic 😅
Also Mommy: Do I really need to explain distance, space, and the universe right now?

Motherhood = curiosity on full blast.
And honestly… I love this era. 💫

When my mind feels full, I write. I pray. I choose silence.

Being a mom and a wife for three years now life is chaotic, messy, and overwhelming at times. Things can go crazy, but as moms, we need to learn how to protect our sanity. Like I always say, kung wala si Lord, hindi ko talaga alam kung paano ko masusurvive ang motherhood years.

Here are the steps that help me stay grounded and a little more organized:

1. Pray before planning.
I learned this the hard way, but now I’m truly practicing it.

2. Budgeting and meal planning.
Monthly budgeting.
Weekly or bi-weekly meal planning.

3. Investing in myself again.
This year, I’m starting over—focusing on myself spiritually and emotionally first, because this is what I need the most.

Motherhood can feel overwhelming, and that’s okay. Take it one step at a time. No need to rush. Growth, healing, and progress don’t happen overnight. 🌿

Today he went to a birthday party and a dedication— a half-day adventure with Lolo and Lola. 🥰

Mommy: How was your day, Sherlock?
Sherlock: Next time, Mommy, don’t iwan me ha.
Mommy: Sorry, Mommy needs to work.
Sherlock: You come with me next time. It’s fun!
Thank you, Lola, for coming with me to the party.

Mommy: What did you do after the party?
Sherlock: Children’s Park!
I rode the train (one time only 😄),
I played on the slide with big kuyas and ates,
and I run, run, run, run!

We’re officially in our kwento era, and I’m loving every moment of it. 🤍✨

Healing our inner child through him 🤍
After the horse ride, this was the conversation:

Mommy: First time ko sumakay sa horse na tumatakbo.
Daddy: Uray man syak, picture-picture lang ah, di ubbing kami.
Mommy: Ayos ah, dibale ta napadas tayon nga tallo! Hahaha

There’s always room for new experiences, especially when we share them with our little one. 🐎✨

Kwentong mag-asawa muna tyo 💜💜💜

Me: Dad, send mo na sa e-wallet ko please 😘
Husband (acting galit): Hoy! Sino ‘tong sinisendan ko ha???

Wife: Ako ‘yan Dad, number ko ‘yan daddy

😤 Husband: Ha??? Bakit iba last name???
Bakit R.?? Dapat S. ‘yan ah!

Wife: Hahaha! Nauna ko na ‘yan gawin before tayo ikasal eh 🙈

😏 Husband: Next time ha, di ko na ‘to sesendan.
Di ko naman asawa ‘to—iba apelyedo!

😜 Wife: Ay wow! Pati e-wallet gusto may marriage contract??

😂😂😂
Lesson learned: kahit e-wallet, gusto legal 💸💍

Potty training started when he turned two 👶🧻
Super excited si mommy—bili agad ng potty, mini urinal 🚽💛 ready na ready na kami.

Of course, we had a couple of accidents 😅💦
We watched potty-training videos 📱
Even let him watch them too 👀🎥
Days turned into weeks ⏳
Napagod ang nanay at tatay kakahintay, kakapaalala, kakahabol 🥹😴

But this week… something changed ✨
He started telling us when he wants to go to the potty 🗣️🚽
Hindi pa every time, but often enough to make our hearts so full 💙🥰

Viola—he’s learning!!! 🎉👏

Lesson learned:
Wait, mommy 🤍
Your little child is learning at his own pace 🐢✨
Not late, not early—just right for him ⏰💫
And every small win is worth the wait 🌱💙
