Heavenly Father, please protect the people of Cordillera from heavy rains, landslides, and flooding. Keep every family safe, calm the weather, and protect the frontliners who are working tirelessly to help others.

Lord, give them strength, courage, and wisdom. Surround every community with Your love and protection.

Our little door with holes… and one tiny piece of tape. 🥹

Sherlock got frustrated because he wanted to go inside the office. In his anger, he hit the door so hard that it ended up with several holes. Mommy and Daddy were upset, and yes—there were consequences. He received the appropriate discipline.

The next evening, something unexpected happened.

He asked Daddy for a piece of tape.

Daddy handed him one, and he immediately ran to the damaged door. Carefully, he placed the tape over one of the holes, then turned around with the biggest smile on his face.

“Look, Dad! I fixed it for you!” ❤️

That little moment melted our hearts.

The tape didn’t repair the door—but it showed his heart. In his own little way, he wanted to make things right.

It reminded me that while it’s important to teach our children responsibility and the consequences of their actions, it’s just as important to remember that they’re still learning. Sherlock is only three. He’s discovering how to handle big emotions, make mistakes, and find ways to fix them.

This isn’t an excuse for hurting or destroying things. Discipline is necessary. But so are patience, grace, and understanding.

Parenting is a journey where we’re both learning every single day.

And today, our little teacher reminded us that sometimes, it’s the thought behind the gesture that matters most.

We’re growing together, Sherlock. ❤️

Marriage Reality Check 😂❤️

Minsan sa mag-asawa, hindi maiiwasan ang heated conversation…

👩 Wife: “Maybe we should consider things first before we decide.”

👨 Husband: “Kaya ta kadii, tiwala lang! Kasla awan pamatim.”

👩 Wife: “It’s not like that! We can pray for it and wait for a while.”

👨 Husband: “Ket apay ngay nga in-Englishen nak?” 🤨

👩 Wife: ”…”

At that moment, hindi na alam ni misis kung itutuloy pa ba ang argumento o tatawa na lang. 🤣🤣🤣

Plot twist: The problem wasn’t the decision anymore… it was the sudden switch to English during the argument. 😂❤️

Marriage lesson: Sometimes the fight ends not because someone won, but because someone accidentally became the English teacher. 🤣📚💕

By day, a school mom. By night, a teacher. 📚❤️

A few weeks into this new routine, and so far, so good. My little student is thriving in school, and my online students continue to grow and improve.

Tired? Sometimes.
Grateful? Always. ✨

Lord, thank You for the strength and wisdom as my roles continue to grow. The simple things are truly the biggest blessings. 🙏🏻💕

The older we get, the more our prayers change.

Before, it was:
“Lord, let me pass this exam.”

Now it’s:
“Lord, provide for our needs.”
“Lord, protect our family.”
“Lord, grant us wisdom.”
“Lord, we entrust our future to You.”

The requests may be different, but God’s faithfulness never changes. Through every season, every answered prayer, every waiting period, and even every closed door, He remains faithful.

Yesterday, today, and forever. 🤍

More malunggay with tangkay 🍃
More “clean up and away” moments, anak 🤍

It’s been such an exhausting and emotional week, but the Lord has been teaching me to slow down… to pause and truly see my little boy growing, learning, and trying his best every day.

Getting him intentionally involved in simple chores may make everything take a little longer, but it’s teaching him responsibility, independence, and a willing heart.
And honestly, these slow moments are becoming the moments I treasure the most.

I’m not a perfect mom, and truthfully, I’m still learning alongside him. These realizations were not easy to accept. It took weeks and months of adjusting, praying, crying, and learning for me too.

But through it all, I praise God for His grace and guidance that keeps me going every single day 🤍

Less perfect chores, more precious memories together.

“Losing Pieces of Me, Finding the Best of Me in You” 🤍

Sometimes, as a mom, I miss my old self.
I miss my quiet me time.
I miss my devotions without interruptions.
I miss late-night movies, ramen cravings, and long calls with my best friends.
So many little things I can’t do the same way anymore… because now, I have you. 🤍

But when I look at the other side of it all, having you has brought out the best in me.

Now I get to watch movies with you.
Now I get to read the Bible with you — and honestly, I’ve learned so much through those little moments together.
Now I get to talk to you like an adult… because somehow, you speak like one too. 🥹

My son, you are the greatest answered prayer I could ever ask for.
And I would choose this kind of love, this kind of joy, over and over again.

I love you so much. 🤍
