The Iloilo City Government and the Iloilo Economic Development Foundation (ILEDF) hold the ๐ˆ๐ฅ๐จ๐ข๐ฅ๐จ ๐”๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ” on September 29 to discuss the current state and future of urban living and rental housing in the city. The event will bring together government agencies, property owners, developers, rental operators, and other industry stakeholders.

Mayor Raisa Treรฑas emphasized the responsibility of property owners to ensure safe and suitable living conditions for tenants.

The summit will also address rising electricity demand as Iloilo City continues to grow. Through stronger public-private collaboration, the city government and ILEDF aim to improve the safety, quality, and accessibility of rental communities while supporting investment and sustainable urban development.

Carloโ€™s Bakery Cafรฉ, a homegrown Iloilo brand introduced โ€œA Taste of Ilonggo Soup Favorites,โ€ the collection features eight dishes: KBL, Pork Ribs Sinigang, Sinigang na Isda, Pancit Molo, Binakol na Manok, La Paz Batchoy, Pancit Lomi, and Arroz Caldo.

The launch of this collection is part of Carloโ€™s celebration leading up to its 40th anniversary in 2027โ€”a celebration of Iloiloโ€™s flavors, traditions, and the dishes that have become favorites among Ilonggos.
