𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐩, 𝐍𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐤?

As the days become shorter, people give way for the colorful lights the longer nights have to offer. With this, we welcome the spirit of Christmas.

One of the long awaited holiday is here! A time of joy, a time of cheer, a chance for all to give and to forgive... or is it? As Time passes, is the spirit of Christmas still the same like it once was? When one felt the joy of Christmas months before it even took place, hearts filled with excitement as some counted the days before the awaited moment. But as years passed by, like an engine running out of fuel, most felt the excitement fade. It was no longer the same, people changed, and it felt that Christmas did too. Has the Christmas spirit completely lost its bright light? Or is it the people that no longer treasured the spirit of Christmas...

Through the years, people witnessed how silent nights had become during the Christmas season, from the days where the streets were filled with joyous children singing their hearts out hoping for silver coins as a reward for their wonderful talents, to kids finding more happiness inside their houses accompanied by different mobile devices. Houses that were once the venue for karaoke nights now exist quietly without laughter.

Might it be? that the people had slowly forgotten what Christmas is all about, it's the time of giving, not only expensive gifts, but also love and kindness. It's about forgiving, letting go of sorrow and pain from the past that forbids us from growing and truly feeling the essence of joy during this time. May this be a reminder to all what Christmas is truly about. In this special holiday, let us join each other hand in hand as we cheer and spread joy for the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ.

Through their award-winning efforts, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 celebrates their commitment to truth and their passion for storytelling that matters.

𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟒: 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚’𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭

𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗪𝗔𝗬, 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗕𝗘 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥.

There’s something about quiet goodbyes — how they don’t really end, they just fade softly into the spaces we leave behind.

𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 came to our team, The Perspective, with her calm presence and quiet confidence, and somewhere between the laughter over foods, the 8pm trainings, and the stories told, whether on OmeTV or on air, she became family. She's been our constant — a voice of our team, a source of warmth, and a reminder that campus journalism is more than just chasing deadlines; it’s about feeling deeply, listening intently, and telling stories that matter as you meet people along the way who you hold close to you no matter what happens.

Like Vienna, you reminded us to slow down: to breathe, to live, to love the process of learning. And like Scott Street, you’ve taught us that even as paths diverge, there’s always beauty in remembering.

The speech lab will miss you, Victoria — the way you spoke with intention to always make it on top, the quiet strength you carried despite our very hectic schedules of training everyday, and the laughter that lingered long after the mics were off. Still, we’ll hold on to every memory, every 5:00, every gentle lesson you left behind.

You once told us not to rush life, that it unfolds when it’s meant to. So here’s to that — to finding your own Vienna, wherever you go.

The Grand Rosary Rally for Peace with the theme “Maria, Aming Ina, Samahan Kaming Maglakbay Tungo Kay Kristo na Aming Pag-asa,” Bishop Sescon emphasized prayer, compassion, and the power of unity in nurturing peace in families and society.

Speaking in front of faithfuls from various schools across the province, Rev. Sescon also reminded the youth to lift everything to Christ, where blessings given not by human hands but by God’s grace will always be greater than what one prays for or expects.

“I realized that when we surrender everything to Christ and trust His plan, He gives more than what we pray and more than what we expect. All we need to do is to strengthen our faith, continue praying, and let Him lead the way,” said Mary Jana Khaiz Bergonia, TRC-DYMC SHS Secretary.

Meanwhile, the celebration featured lively performances and the solemn entrance of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s image, followed by the Parade of Colors and candle lighting symbolizing unity, hope, and peace.

In solemn prayer, thousands of attendees recited the Holy Rosary together, each mystery dedicated to intentions for peace, love, and guidance.

Also, Bataan Governor Joet Garcia led the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a symbolic act of devotion that reflected the province’s faith and unity under her maternal protection.

Through the act of consecration to Mary, the faithful renewed their commitment to live as instruments of hope and peace, echoing the bishop’s call to “Hold on, pray everyday, and put everything at Christ’s embrace.”

Thousands of students from across the province gathered at the Bataan People’s Center on October 11 for the Grand Rosary Rally for Peace.

With the theme “Maria, Aming Ina, Samahan Kaming Maglakbay Tungo Kay Kristo na Aming Pag-asa,” Balanga Bishop Rufino C. Sescon Jr., D.D. delivered an inspiring homily.

The celebration opened with lively performances led by the MMHC brothers and priests, and as the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary entered the hall, a reverent silence filled the venue, symbolizing deep respect and collective faith.

Spearheaded by the Supreme Student Government, students turned the limited TRC lobby space into a grand stage for recognizing del Rosarian teachers' enduring passion and commitment.

With this year’s theme “Empowering Educators: Strengthening Resilience, Building Sustainability, some school officials delivered speeches highlighting the crucial role that teachers play in shaping the future of students and emphasized the importance of appreciating their efforts.

“It’s our way to thank teachers for their hard work and dedication in guiding and inspiring us,” said Jylian Jeoffrey S. Romero of Grade 12 STEM - Sagittarius.

Students also expressed their gratitude for the teachers through a performance by the Bottom Tier Sapiens, who played “Blackbird” by The Beatles and “Mapa” by SB19 as a tribute to their unwavering support and guidance.

The SSG officers organized several games for the teachers to enjoy and unwind, including “Grab the Cup,” “Balloon Train,” and “Sticky Note,” which brought laughter and friendly competition among students and teachers.

Teachers expressed heartfelt appreciation for the effort put into organizing the event, with Ma’am Julie Angel S. Serrano saying, “Nakakataba ng puso kasi yung mga awards—kahit maliit o malaki—‘di ko inexpect na ganun pala ang tingin ng mga bata.”

The program concluded with a reminder for all del Rosarians to continue honoring teachers as the guiding force shaping the minds of tomorrow.

Naguumapaw ng energy at pasasalamat ang buong campus. May pa-surprise sa advisers, creative booths, fun games, at bonggang performance mula sa mga estudyante! Syempre, hindi rin nagpahuli ang recognition para sa ating mga g**o na tunay na inspirasyon. Isang araw ng saya, kilig, at appreciation para sa ating classroom heroes!

Halina’t balikan natin muli kung paano ipinamalas ng mga del Rosarians ang kanilang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga g**o na patuloy na naglilingkod, nagtuturo, at nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa bawat mag-aaral.

𝙎𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙀𝙠𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙖

May mga panahong tila mahina ang signal—malabo, paulit-ulit, at hindi natin mawari kung bakit gano’n na lamang ang takbo ng mga araw. Minsan nga, gusto na lang nating hinaan ito, o pindutin ang pause kahit saglit, para lang... makahinga. At ayos lang iyon. Hindi mo kailangang malinawan sa bawat tagpo, ni ayusin agad ang lahat ng eksena—sapat na ang manatiling naroon, patuloy na sumusubaybay, gaano man kabagal o kabilis ang pag-ikot ng kwento.

Ngayong 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆, nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala: hindi hadlang ang mga patlang at pahinga. Sa gitna ng ingay ng mundo, maaari mong itigil ang palabas, huminga nang malalim, at hayaang ang puso mo muna ang magpatuloy ng tunay na kwento. Sapagkat tulad ng bawat palabas, may mga komersiyal din ang buhay—mga sandaling kailangan nating huminto, para makapagpatuloy muli.

Kaya sa bawat pagbalik mo sa sarili mong channel, nawa’y maalala mong kailanman ay hindi ka nag-iisang karakter sa palabas ng buhay—sapagkat kahit paulit-ulit ang mga eksena ng pagod at pangamba, may liwanag na palaging naghihintay sa dulo ng bawat tagpo.

At times, we find ourselves wishing our teachers would skip class—but despite it all, they still make the effort to show up, fulfilling their role with dedication and heart. Simply their presence everyday in class is a living testament of their unwavering commitment to shaping lives, one lesson at a time.

Today marks 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗗𝗮𝘆, a celebration honoring the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of our beloved teachers. As students, let us never forget to look back and treasure the golden lessons they’ve planted in our hearts and minds as we move forward to our journey.

Here’s to the teachers who serve as tomorrow’s architects; laying strong foundations for every student’s future and shaping a world that’s brighter, wiser, and more compassionate.

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng National Su***de Prevention Month ngayong Setyembre, tampok sa episode na ito ang isang espesyal na talakayan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng kalusugang pangkaisipan. Isinali natin ang ating mga kapwa Del Rosarians sa isang masaya ngunit makahulugang laro: Fill in the Blanks of Persitivity Quotes. Mula sa kanilang tamang sagot at tapat na pagbabahagi ng sariling repleksyon, marami tayong natutunan tungkol sa pag-asa, katatagan, at pag-aalaga sa sarili.

Upang higit pang palalimin ang usapan, nakapanayam din natin ang ating mga school psychometricians na nagbahagi ng kanilang propesyonal na pananaw hinggil sa isyung ito.

Samahan ninyo kami sa muling pagbalik-tanaw sa mga makabuluhang sandaling ito—patunay na sama-sama nating kayang buwagin ang stigma at itaguyod ang kulturang nagbibigay-halaga sa mental health.

Sa mata ng lipunan, ang pagpapakamatay ay kadalasang tinitingnan bilang paghahanap ng wakas. Ngunit, kung lalaliman natin ang pagtingin, kung tititig tayo nang mabuti sa mga mata ng taong naghahanap ng kalinga, at kung maibaba natin ang matatayog na pader na itinayo nila, mas mauunawaan natin ang kanilang pinagdadaanan.

Ayon sa National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), ang 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘆𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 ay tinatagurian bilang 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. Layunin nito na itaas ang kamalayan hinggil sa kalusugang pangkaisipan, hikayatin ang bukas na pag-uusap tungkol sa mga isyung madalas ay tinatabunan, at palakasin ang suporta para sa mga taong dumaranas ng matinding pagsubok.

Batay sa ulat ng Philippine National Police (PNP), halos 2,000 Pilipino ang nagbuwis ng sariling buhay mula Enero hanggang Hunyo ngayong taon, habang tinatayang nasa 720,000 naman ang naaapektuhan taun-taon sa buong mundo. Hindi lamang ito basta mga numero; bawat isa ay kwento ng mga tahimik na laban at mga sigaw na hindi narinig.

Kaya ngayong buwan ng Setyembre, ang buwan ng tahimik na liwanag, nawa’y masilayan natin ang hiwaga ng pagmamasid at pakikinig. Ang mga simpleng kilos na ito ay nagsisimula sa pagtahimik, sa presensiyang walang paghuhusga, at sa pagbibigay ng espasyo para sa katahimikan.

Sapagkat kung minsan, hindi kailangan ng malalaking hakbang upang makatulong; sapat na ang tahimik na pag-upo sa tabi ng isang taong naghahanap ng kalinga upang iparamdam na hindi sila nag-iisa, at sa ganitong paraan tayo nagiging tahimik na liwanag sa gitna ng kanilang kadiliman.
