The 7th Infantry 'Kaugnay' Division troopers salute the fallen hero, Private First Class Jhon R. Federico (Infantry) Philippine Army who offered his life to protect the civilians against the exploitation of the members of Komiteng Larangang Gerilya South Ilocos Sur.

He died to an explosion of landmine during a combat operation yesterday at Brgy. Dili, Sta.Cruz, Ilocos Sur, July 31.

The 'Kaugnay' troopers will always be grateful and honored for his sacrifices just to protect the people of Ilocos Sur.

We sincerely offer our condolences to his family for their great loss.

The 7ID lost not only a colleague, but a brother who shared the same aspiration for everyone to live a peaceful life free from NPA bandits exploitation in the countryside.

His gallantry will serve as an inspiration to every 'Kaugnay' troopers to continue serving and protecting the country without reservation.
