I posted a video talking about how I used to help my grandma shower and there comments like:

- Only women are supposed to help with duties like that.
- Why is he showering with her? That's weird.
- Find a professional to do that.

It sparked a lot of conversation and furthered my conviction that education around the life of a caregiver is necessary.

My family and I struggled through the first few years of caregiving because we had no idea how to navigate.

This is why the work we do Tendercare is more than just a "job" to me, this is my life mission.
