Malacañang declares Friday, 15 July 2022, a special non-working day in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) in celebration of the 35th founding anniversary of the region.

CAR was officially created on July 15, 1987 with Executive Order 220 which created CAR as a special temporary administrative region while waiting for ongoing efforts for the establishment of an autonomous region.

The Cordillera region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Localized Thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms may occur.

Light to moderate winds blowing from South will prevail over the region.
