Way back 2012 when i started to photograph the rice terraces of Banaue i always look up on one spot where the sun comes out and light up the Batad Rice Terraces. I always ask my self is there a path that leads to that place. The guides, the people told me there is a path but i never tried to go to that place. 2024 the second festival of batad arrange a trek on that place but still i didn't join the trek due to knee problem. This time the 3rd festival i ask my self i have to go and see that place to know if the place is really a stunning place to capture batad. Early morning i wake up prep some gears and start to walk to the school and then my feet starts to cramp sh*******t when i was at the school im trying to find a bandage but some used it so kind of disappointed but then when everyone is already ready i went alone first to check if i can do the stairs, when i reach the 1st terrace everyone catch up already so i just stop and play with the drone letting everyone go first. When everone passed by, i start to walk with a bit of pain in the feet. I remember a guest back then told me to not think of the pain and walk like a turtle so i did it walk like a turtle always looking at the stairs, the mountains and the stunning batad rice terraces, along the way met the tourism student of lagawe where in i have a chit chat with them until we reach the peak of the awwa view deck and it helps to not think of the pain. When we are at the top i can say wooooooow what a stunning place to see the beauty of Batad......................Aftermath body pain..................
