π¨ NATIONWIDE SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL 2026
| HAPPENING AT SAN VICENTE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL π«
San Vicente National High School actively participated in the Nationwide School Safety Drill, in coordination with the Banga Philippine National Police (Banga PNP).
As part of the activity, the Banga PNP conducted an orientation for our students on the proper actions to take in case of an attacker or threatening emergency situation within the school premises. Our students attentively listened to the discussion and actively participated in the succeeding safety drill.
π‘οΈ REMEMBER: RUN. HIDE. FIGHT.
π RUN β If there is a safe route, move away from the attacker and proceed to a safe location.
π HIDE β If escape is not possible, find a secure place, lock or barricade the door, silence your phone, and remain quiet.
π₯ FIGHT β LAST RESORT β If running or hiding are not possible and there is an immediate threat to life, fighting back may be considered only as a last resort. It is not the preferred option.
The orientation and drill were facilitated by PEMS Crislino Arang, PMSG Shella May Orquia, PCpl Irene Gullos, and Pat Vanessa Garlit of the Banga PNP, whose valuable guidance helped our learners become more aware and prepared for emergency situations.
Our sincere appreciation to the Banga PNP for their support and for equipping our students with essential knowledge on school safety and emergency preparedness.
Preparedness saves lives. Stay alert. Stay calm. Know what to do. π‘οΈπ«
