The Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk rejoices as the Episcopal Ordination of Rev. Fr. Sean Buslig Mejia, JCL, takes place this morning at St. Williamโs Cathedral in Tabuk City.
The Sacred Ordination is presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Charles John Brown, DD, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, serving as Principal Consecrator. Joining him as Co-Consecrators are His Excellency, Most Rev. Ricardo L. Baccay, DD, Archbishop of Tuguegarao, and His Excellency, Most Rev. Prudencio P. Andaya, Jr., CICM, DD, Bishop of Cabanatuan. The homily is delivered by His Excellency, Most Rev. David William V. Antonio, DD, Archbishop of Nueva Segovia.
Among those joining the faithful in this historic celebration are our own Bishop, Most Rev. Leopoldo C. Jaucian, SVD, DD, and several priests of the Diocese of Bangued, united in communion with the Universal Church as they welcome a new shepherd for the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk.
As Bishop Sean Buslig Mejia begins his episcopal ministry, may the Lord abundantly bless him with wisdom, courage, and pastoral charity. May he faithfully shepherd God's people and be a living witness of Christ's love and mercy. Let us accompany him with our prayers as he embraces this sacred mission entrusted to him by the Church.
